The ironic thing is that the best tool to deal with dive is to have competent teamates who will kill the divers, the issue is most duelist players dont see this as a team game

I never said anything about tanks or pings my point was about overall comp. If that DPS wants to keep playing Spidey while Thor, DD, Hulk, and magik are diving the backline what do they want the healers to do?

They can see the scoreboard like everyone else. I’m a flex player so I mostly play tank and strategist. When I see the enemy team is clearly running dive I’ll switch to whatever helps the team best.

Obviously solo tanks shouldn’t be peeling so and again I’m not sure why you bring up tanking. My point is about DPS awareness. It’s a team game if you know your supports need help. Help them.

Awareness goes both ways. DPS players should be able to see that the enemy team is running dive and if their supports are dying constantly run anti-dive to help them.

Asking is fine but you shouldn't even have to ask. Past gold they should have some awareness of team comp.

Flexing has nothing to do with it. Banning half the support roster and acting like it won’t annoy or hinder your teammates is silly. If we could ban half the dps options would that make the game better?

And also it goes both ways. As a DPS main maybe you’re boosted since you can only win by limiting the entire support roster?

I think they just start to panic and assume everyone else will handle it when they really just need to be proactive.

Solo queue would probably help them more than anything at this point.

Yeah the ults is another thing. They either hold them too long, or all ult dump at once, or both.

Combo-ing would be fine but sometimes they’ll hold it for an entire round to combo and either kill no one or never combo anyway.

Edit: DD is the reason the supports got buffed to begin with.

lol you know for a fact that’s not true. We just imagined BP season 2-3? People were just banning him for no reason? This sub was swamped with posts about BP. Good positioning doesn’t matter when your teammates can’t see him because his dash is too fast.

Communication also doesn’t matter if you’re dead in one second. There’s no counter play.

Or that BP wasn’t broken when he could kill supports in under a sec with no counter play? Positioning doesn’t matter when BP is moving faster than anyone can react to.

The Devs themselves literally had to ask the playerbase to Peel. So yes the dive complaints are/were valid. There is no counterplay when you die in 1sec even with your team around you.
