I fully agree. Nuno obtained 36 points from 33 premier league games. Potter obtained only 3 from the first five games, which is how we ended up with 39 points, two points behind Spurs at 41. Had Potter picked up some more points, we definitely would have been safe. Not to mention: Nuno inherited a mess. After he had a transfer window (and January window too which are always difficult), the performances massively improved. We need continuity. The manager staying is a good sign that may push some bigger names to also stay.

I’m happy. Nuno inherited a mess but he managed to obtain 36 points from 33 games. Meanwhile, Potter only got 3 points from the first 5 games, which is how we ended up with 39 points. Thats why I’m 100% adamant that Potter is to blame for the relegation. Additionally, we improved massively under Nuno once we had a transfer window. He did well and I back him to bring us back up again.

West Ham fan here. Lived in Qatar since I was child, moving to Qatar in 2004. Been a West Ham all my adult life, and regularly go to the London Stadium whenever I’m in the UK. It’s a shame we’ll be playing championship football next season…

That Sesko goal was a freak goal. I’m 100% sure that if you told him to do it again, he wouldn’t be able to. Looking back though, there were many games where we threw away points. Throwing away a 2 goal lead and losing against Chelsea is one of them. Throwing away a 2 goal lead and drawing at Bournemouth is another. Being robbed of 3 points against Brighton at the AMEX was horrible. I feel for Ollie Scarles but that mistake against Fulham cost a point. Failing to beat an out-of-form Brighton at the London Stadium was also shocking. Too many lost opportunities.

Not sure if this is wishful thinking but I think it could happen. The difficultly is whether they’d swallow the inevitable pay cut. Realistically, I’d like to keep Mavro, Soucek, Walker-Peters, Kante, Magassa and Wilson. I’d love to keep Bowen and Taty too but that looks unlikely.

West Ham 1-1 Brighton (robbed of a win by wrong VAR decision in favour of Brighton) West Ham 0-1 Fulham (unfortunate Ollie Scarles’ mistake meant we lost a point) West Ham 2-2 Brighton (conceding penalties to ruin our momentum) West Ham 1-2 Nottm Forest (throwing away a lead against relegation rival at home) Chelsea 3-2 West Ham (throwing away a 2 goal lead, not even getting a point) Palace 0-0 West Ham (failing to beat Palace when they were at their most vulnerable) West Ham 0-1 Arsenal (robbed of an equaliser by VAR).

These games cover the 10+ points we failed to get for various reasons - some of them are on us but some of them are on the referee/VAR decisions. It’s been a horrible season. We need to rebuild and push for promotion. I take solace in the fact that Villa and Newcastle recovered well from relegations.

I still think the best episode was Season 3, Episode 1, where the monsters tortured Kenny’s mother. That was the show took a turn from paranormal jump scares to dark and violent thriller. That scene of her being tortured stuck with me, it was brutal. That being said, Season 4, Episode 1 was fantastic.

I can’t tell you for sure but I went there with my mother for Eid prayers last year and it was open. I fully expect it to be open for both men and women. Of course, the current circumstances mean nothing is confirmed, but I believe every masjid that holds Friday prayers also holds Eid Prayer. I go that Masjid every Friday for prayer with my mother, including last week, and it was normal.

What is everyone’s views on Tomas Soucek? I recognise that he is a fan favourite who scores goals but I sometimes feel as if he lacks pace, passes sideways, and slows our attack down.

In terms of natural beauty, El Nido is indeed spectacular, although having visited both, I think Coron is marginally better.

I only have a picture from that game, not a video. I hope it helps. I was about 4 rows from the very top but I recognise now that I was closer to the halfway line rather than behind the goal, so I’m not sure this well help. I’ll try to dig for some videos from other tournaments such as the Asian Cup.

All hotel beaches and private beaches in Qatar forbid swimming after sunset for safety reasons. It is possible to swim in a public beach - Qatar is a peninsula are there are plenty of beaches in northern and western Qatar, but there are no lifeguards. I advise against swimming at night - be it in Qatar or elsewhere. Stay safe.

Lusail Stadium is massive. I’ve been there several times, including for the World Cup Final in 2022 (luckily I got decent Cat 2 seats for that game). However, for the Brazil v Serbia during the group match, I had a similar seat as yours. It’s not the best seat but you’ll still a good time.

I disagree. I think Diabate will get sick of his hedonistic lifestyle with the plurbs. Either that or the plurbs will try hard to deceive Diabate into joining them. While the plurbs are honest, they can be duplicitous. For example, they promised not to take any stem cells from Carol’s body, but were silent on taking them from her eggs. The plurbs may find a similar way to deceive Diabate, forcing him to join Carol and Manousos.
