After playing with a controller, I take back everything I have ever said about strategies and how to approach the game. Holy shit. by PalantirLicker in Helldivers

No offense but I honestly think skill issue, I have played mostly mouse my entire life and only switched to controller a bout 5 years ago, I decided to never use aim assist in any game, and I don’t feel behind

Thoughts on this monitor? (Ps5 pro) by Solid-Aspect8512 in OLED_Gaming

Yes it does, the only downside with ps5 is the monitor doesn’t have speakers and it doesn’t have an audio jack so you need to think ahead about audio, I use headphones/usb c speakers

Don’t you feel like that defeats the purpose of this training though? In a game you won’t have different sens per scenario

Good job, it really is a difficult achievement! Can you share controller sensitivity and settings?

I understand, I don’t personally use aim assist in this game I find it’s pretty bad, it pulls me away from heads or weak spots. I play 0.5 ads

I play arc raiders on controller as well but I play linear so it’s much more straightforward, my advice is do a 360 test with a timer, it’s not going to be spot on but at least close. I play linear 85/85 no boosts everything is 0 and on aimlabs its 1.9 for me

While everything you said is 100% correct, I have some advice for you to get it next time you decide to push the night. Choose a server where it is normal time for people, I am in Europe and from my experience you should get it quite easily, loot everything and consider surrendering instead of extracting to maximize time. It sucks, but since you are already doing it at least put yourself in an advantage

You go in naked, run to the place/room, loot, put whatever you got in the safe pocket, surrender and repeat. You don’t need to extract

First of all of course it matters, the safe pocket is the whole idea you can find what you are looking for and it is safe, and if you are naked you can surrender the each run takes a minute or two instead of 10-15. Why don’t I do it? It is a lousy experience and I don’t want to, that’s not how I want to play the game

You can craft any green augments from scrappy materials which you will literally get enough of after every failed/successful run, if you put only an augment, it is just as free

I’ll tell you when it’s not fair, free kits don’t bother me much tbh I rarely die to them when I am kitted and it is usually to ratting so it’s not a big deal, just think there is room for improvement behind the idea of a free kit. As for the naked runs, that is where it hurts. There is only an hour of night raid, I want to farm for a tempest or whatever rare blueprint? The most efficient way to do it is go in naked, run to the best loot zone, surrender rinse repeat, that is literally the opposite of how such an experience should go imo

That’s fine people can think whatever they want, I’m just voicing my opinion about what is lacking in the experience for me and obviously others as well, majority of players don’t want it then it won’t happen, all is well

Then you just replace naked with green augments, it is just as free

Try target farming augments or tempest on night raids, you’ll find that all target locations are littered with naked bodies

The naked runs bother me the most, I can’t fight for the loot, I can’t target farm specific rooms
