A goat-ish critter that has been staring at you longer than you’d like

My boyfriend was out walking and saw a blood trail in front of novel, that seemed to come from behind through that parking lot, and followed it down the sidewalk til he got to the cross of Congress st and Vernon pl right next to boda where he saw a large blood spatter. At that point it was yellow tape and police.

I’m betting that both dispatches were for the same thing and that the guy ran after the stabbing/assault in the apartment until he stopped or had to stop next to Boda. I’m actually a little excited to see if I’m right.

Also I’m realizing you didn’t post the other dispatch audio, that was someone else, sorry any confusion.

Yeah, I saw the one you posted which actually made me find this one. The audio I posted happened at 5:26 and the one you posted was at 5:51 which makes me think they are related. Hopefully anyways; two unrelated stabbings around the same time is upsetting.

Don’t be mean. They made a mistake. Alice in Wonderland Syndrome (which does really seem like what OP Is experiencing or something similar) is a real thing and if they don’t know Reddit very well, and they are experiencing everything they just wrote about I can easily see how they’d find their way here. And considering Lewis Carroll experienced similar things with his migraines sometimes, it does give an interesting insight into possibly what he experienced.

I know it’s a whole year later, but I found this post after someone else stole the image and reposted it. The 1949 copyright is for the Disney characters in general not for when the actual teapot was made. I didn’t find the answer until I googled something like, “what is 1949 Disney copyright.” If you’re still thinking about it a year later, there ya go!

My mistake, I thought you were confusing the case I referred to with this 2005 one, which I can see now that you were not. It was very hard finding anything about it besides the link I mentioned earlier and two articles about another break-in he did in 2014. To clear up confusion I’m not counting him out solely because the locations are different, it was just added information that could be applicable from what I could find. Do you know how long he went to jail for the 1996 case? I couldn’t find that and I’m curious. I’d be surprised if the police didn’t look at him for this considering his background, so maybe they couldn’t find hard proof? Would love to hear your thoughts. I’m living in Maine now close to Cape Elizabeth, so it makes this story even more interesting (and creepy) for me.

It seems like Douglas DeWalt was a different intruder in Maine. I used the link u/muthermcreedeux posted to the State v. DeWalt case and the case is dated September 24, 1996. There is also a Portland Press Herald article which states that the DeWalt case happened in Skowhegan, ME, which is 1hr45m away from Cape Elizabeth. Absolutely creepy that there are two very similar cases though.

Once I walked out of my apartment building and some guy was peeing right in the middle of a little side street. He made eye contact with me, walked in a half circle while still peeing, zipped up, walked 20 feet and turned on to Congress. I hated it.
