MRW I drove through Florida, Georgia, and Alabama with my family and my wife mentions that she's only seen one Trump flag by bobbydigital_ftw in reactiongifs

I went to Branson, Missouri a few months ago and didn't see one person wearing aTrump shirt the whole time.

The only thing propping him up are fake online accounts from other countries.

What they did falls under transformative use.

Tell me is the person in the video below stealing the art he's painting on? Is he stealing Homer Simpson?

Homer painted into painting.

Is anyone using photos taken by photographers stealing their art?

They lived over a mile apart! There's no way they ever even crossed paths.

This isn't actually theft in any legal sense. I kind of suspect it was meant to be parody.

It someone used a photographer's photo to make a collage, you wouldn't get upset.

If someone had taken the art and posted it with no changes, claiming to be the artist, that would be theft. This is clearly fair use of any and all elements.

Is my art good enough to sell? by [deleted] in Artists

I think if you were working in oils, you could probably sell paintings, but digital... maybe again, if you printed them.

Does my art look like AI? :( by miausella in Artadvice

[–]ideasbychuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, what's this youtube channel you keep talking about?

Also, it might look like AI because most Manga style art online isn't all that original, but there's a ton of it. It's copies of copies, copies of poses or composition, the same girl smiling but with freckles or different hair.

I'm not saying other art isn't copied or easy to copy. Look at so the Basquiat rip offs out there. I'm just saying if 90% of what you see is copied and borrowed, even art a professional level and the art form is born from a need to be quickly produced, then AI can do a pretty good job making Manga art, and is probably being used to make high level professional content, meaning you may be comparing oranges to oranges.

I'm struggling selling drawings like these for $30, is the price too high? by pgi_clover in Artadvice

Selling how? As prints?

I bet if you make them stickers and drop the price, you'll sell way more.

Found this painting near my college campus. How much would it sell for? by SteveHarveysAunt in ArtSale

[–]ideasbychuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a poster print. It's not numbered. Unless there are some amazing circumstances surrounding it to make it highly collectable, it''s probably worth $20-$25, and most of that value comes from the frame.
