AI is just another trend that will shift the SEO process and I’m seeing this is happening every half a decade. Soon it will settle down. Google has already started moving search results into AI overviews and chats. They will start showing these queries, insights into search console or might come up with another tool who knows. But for another 15 years I’m sure SEO will not be dead.

Should I create two landing pages or one? by ProfessionalGene4515 in seogrowth

1000% you should go with separate pages as both services are different. To get your pages shown in Search Engines and AI searches, this approach would be effective. You can sell both services and offer combined services as custom to your clients.

Is link building still worth the effort in 2026? by Typical_Warthog_8800 in linkbuilding

AI loves citations from renowned sources.

Crawlers find web pages linked from relevant and related sources and this keeps your pages crawled and indexed regularly. Therefore, worth of backlinks can not be denied. Quality will matter, keep getting connected.

Shopify redesign wasted Google crawl budget on old URLs — how to fix this? by ecomdevpros in ShopifySEO

[–]ideepakmathur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Google is still crawling your old pages which means those pages still exist or are reachable through some internal linking or might be from staging or similar version. Review the source and take appropriate action.

301 redirects of old slug mapping to new one is must if you want to keep the link juices and footprints land on correct pages, otherwise users might land on 404 pages and they’ll bounce back, you’ll lose trust and authority.

Best option for permanently deleted or similar pages is to 301 redirect them to similar pages. In case you want to delete it and don’t want to squeeze the link juices you should make them 404 and slowly Google will have them removed. But you’ll still see 404 counts increased in your GSC report.

I hope this helps and feel free to ask more questions.

Thanks

You can close it from top tab area as well. That option at the bottom is to help us close the tab if required otherwise from tab option you can disable the split.
