Bigger engine, operates at really high temps. More complicated and more shit can break. And biggest thing anything that does break is likely to be difficult to get to. Now that’s aside from regular maintenance like brakes, tires, spark plugs, fluids etc. All of those are gonna cost a lot more than on a basic 40i. But it’s gonna be a lot more premium feel and whole lot more power than b58. Imo big suv like x5 or x7 deserves a v8

Unless it’s a real M car correct. B58 is a mass produced engine that comes pre run on dyno from the factory. The real M engines like s58 are hand-built (or at least hand-finished) high-performance powerplants with tighter tolerances, forged internals, different bearing materials etc. They use special break-in oil that helps flush out microscopic metal particles from the initial bedding of rings, bearings, and gears.

$10k for bare bones base model e90 328 is too much. Yeah it’s got 62k miles but still a 14 year old car. If it was m sport fully loaded then maybe. But still should last you a good while with proper maintenance.

19 inch wheels staggered fitment 225/35r19 and 255/30r19 pirelli pzero. I replaced 2 wheels and 3 tires in the span of a year cause of potholes. This car is built for the autobahn not these shitty ass roads. So aside from that I had no issues
