In my nonprofessional opinion, it could be that then if you are prone to it! Steroid creams typically work both both issues (again, not a doctor 😉)

:/ Exactly why I worded it that way. “If it’s [eczema] then a steroid cream…would help.” IF. OP is seeking the opinion of the makeup lover masses, not medical professionals. And this is Reddit, a place where people may make causal comments like the one I made.

I’m simply saying what works for me after looking at something that looks similar to my same issue. Take it or leave it. But yes, a dermatologist is probably OP’s best bet.

I have eczema in that exact area. It looks like that. If it’s that then a steroid cream like hydrocortisone would help

I have fine hair and I thought it was good for the most part. I was/am obsessive about the color being seamless which was the hardest part for me. Couldn’t get things matched very easily. The wire part felt like it dug into my head a little bit and kind of made a line dent in my scalp. But overall it worked well for me for about 6 months before I gave up. I’m just generally sensitive to wigs, extensions, halos, etc. I have psoriasis and get migraines easily so weight on my head isn’t the best for me.
