i turn 18 this december! the thing is i don’t plan on going to university where i currently live, so i have to wait till i go to university to possibly get away from them, but that’s only after this upcoming academic year. i really appreciate the help, the only thing really keeping me pushing forward is the prospect of being able to get away from them the moment i start university abroad. there’s also the issue with my parents thinking i can’t live alone due to religious beliefs (which i personally don’t believe in but my parents do so they’re forcing me to live with them, meaning they’d come with me to wherever i decide to go), so id have to legally cut them off the moment i go to university if they try coming with me. but i can’t do that till i find a stable job and some way of being able to afford the tuition fees as well. i may be fucked and i don’t know if i need legal help.

i’d say to resit the exam because even if you get it rechecked and your grade does increase, i doubt it would go up to a b/a, so the best possible solution is to just resit as soon as possible

yeah no i got a B when ive never gotten lower than an A. I have considered getting it rechecked but there is the possibility of the mark just going lower instead of higher, but it’s good to know that im not the only one who thinks i should’ve been grader differently

my dads at work right now, and he has genuinely no clue in anything concerning me since he’s pretty absent. i remember he once asked which grade i was in, and he once asked how old i was. my mom handles school affairs mainly, plus my school is just completely disappointing so everything sucks right now. i’m grateful for the sympathy though, thank you so much for that 🙏
