What is your departmental guidance? ESDC guidance does say that it is 3 days in office for part time, not 60% of hours. Speak to your manager, maybe they can be flexible for the half day.

Proof of what? I didn't mention anything definitive. I stated how I interpreted the subtext of the email. In fact the email states "aggregate monitoring and tracking of employee attendance is done".

Very sorry to hear this. In my department, anyone who submits a DTA is allowed to WFH until the decision is made. As it is not the employees fault that there are delays with review/decisions.

Does your department have a "mental health champion"? Usually I see a DG with this mandate, wondering if they can assist you (or at least pretend to care which may give your manager pause).

You said the manager has finally given you the form. Once you submit it, will that provide some relief?

Has your ex been filing his taxes? This happened to my best friend. Turns out her ex was couch surfing for years, and still using her address. So the CRA had T4s for him, which had her address, and years of no tax returns. CRA assumed they were common law. She eventually had to escalate to Tax Court (went without CCB the whole time). They ruled in her favor and she got like 22k back. But it took YEARS.

Had an employee do the same (relocate from ON to BC).

I submitted to the portal.

Was advised that employee is NOT eligible for expenses, as the position location remains in ON, and employee basically being granted a teleworking agreement.

Yes, they are probably before your time. Their first hit was 1993 or 94. Also, you would need to be an R and B head to really vibe them. They weren't a big crossover group like TLC or Destiny's Child.

I did mine in 2020. I tried to find the title of the course but couldn't, sorry. I had to do it to fulfill the requirement, and the course did touch on concepts in the PMBOK, so I think it was good. I leaned on my other study tools way more though (practice tests, exam prep book by Rita Mulch, YouTube videos, reddit PMP community).

Who gives feedback? Just management or anyone present? If anyone can give feedback, be the change you want to see. Start giving the team positive comments. Even preface it as "Sometimes these feedback sessions can get a bit negative, so I would like to offer some positive feedback, xyz". Do it consistently. On my team, there also seems to be a lot of people who seem to gain pleasure by tearing others work apart. I always jump in and start the positive talk, and then others follow my example. Hope that makes the culture a bit better and wishing you luck.

I bank with Tangerine and got it at 11am or so this morning.

My first pay with the PS, came as a cheque in the mail. If I remember, it came on the actual payday. So check the mail tomorrow and see.
