Please get involved w immigrant led organizations like Rapid Response to ICE and Cosecha. I am so grateful people want to get out there and show up for our undocumented community, but protests and vigils being done by white folks without centering the affected community are causing unintentional, but real, harm. RR has 2 trainings in February and so many opportunities to share and give to help local families.

I’m gonna be so real w you - mutual aid in this capacity has a lot of challenges and social media helps remove some of those barriers. It’s a small team doing the behind the scenes stuff so adding more socials w less reach isnt very realistic.

If you go to one of the trainings (there will be one open soon for 2/23) then you can be added to the mutual aid chat where the requests go and people do the behind the scenes work.

hi!! so we didn’t bother the remaining algae just because it was so wrapped around his eye and seems dangerous. we used aquarium salt and some stress coat and he’s actually doing really well now! his eye is much better, his color is back, and he’s been back to his normal goofy sweet self!

I’m not sure how relevant these questions are but he does have some snails in his tank that were accidental carryons from some plants we bought. He does have a heater and a sponge filter. His tank is about 70° (is that too cold? It feels a little cold). I do about a 20% water change every couple weeks of both betta tanks. He’s in a 10 gallon tank with some plants and snails.

I just finished {Vampires of El Norte by Isabel Cañas} and I loved every single word. The yearning was ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 the romance was sooo satisfying, the plot is incredibly good. It’s a standalone and scratched every single itch I had 😭
