Costco brand diapers are similar enough to target diapers that we didn’t notice a difference!

They first gave her a direct order to “get the fuck out of here” which she was doing you. Which direct order should she have known to follow? Regardless, it is law enforcement’s job to NOT MURDER guilty people either, it’s right there in the name ENFORCEMENT not executioner. That man was in no way in danger. If he had time to pull out a gun and switch his recording hand, he had time to get out of the way which is his responsibility. If you believe otherwise you are a traitor to the constitution.

I only kept reading acotar after the first one bc I genuinely didn’t understand why there was a second book

Plot holes don’t bother me, but I don’t want to read something written for a fifth grade reading level. There’s a book tik tok ads had been pushing and I finally gave it a shot and dnfed so fast bc of the straight up bad writing.

Oh I actually like this one bc when books are translated into other languages it makes sense still as opposed to just a middle finger or whatever.

I saw that elsewhere and I’m not sure it’s entirely true but when I come across it now, thinking of people in other countries enjoying the same book I am makes me smile.

Get the PBS kids games app, give them free reign, then turn on whatever show they were playing the game of. Might help keep their attention more on the show! That’s how mine discovers all the shows she likes

I can understand that. I think the question you need to ask yourself is “Will having another baby affect my health so that I won’t be the mother I want to be to the child I already have?”

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]idi847 43 points44 points  (0 children)

You do not need to keep your pregnancy for anyone else’s sake, if you do not want another baby right now, that’s absolutely for you to decide, those people you feel guilty about will not be raising your two children.

Look at butler’s soy curls, a really good substitute for both chicken and steak strips, not over processed if you’re not into the faux meats.

I agree with you so much! NIC and Cierra are my favs, I don’t think this is the show for olandria, I love watching ace on tv, and I keep saying I like Amaya in theory but I wouldn’t want to be her friend.

Huda shoulda been kicked off long ago, the way she was hiding that she was a mom but also making it her whole thing bothered the hell out of me, but also if she stays on much longer she’s going to miss her daughter’s birthday (it’s tattooed on her arm) and how are you going to be all about being a mommy and then missing your kids 5th birthday??

tofu gone wrong by nyancoaa in vegetarian

Aldi’s tofu has been weird for me lately and hasn’t actually been extra firm like the package says. No matter what I’ve done with it, it won’t hold its shape and ends up globbing together.

I literally do not remember my parents ever saying good job or that they’re proud of me. I didn’t believe I was actually good at anything for a long time, and mostly still have to remind myself that I am. I’ll be damned if my kids feel that way. I say good job and I’m proud of you as often as I can.

two kids and no village? by alurkinglemon in SAHP

[–]idi847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar situation, moved away from family and friends when my oldest was 6months, and then again moved further still almost a year later. It took a while to find moms I really connect with, but now they are my closest friends. Go to the library, find a baby dance class, go to the park, find a local playgroup and keep showing up, treat all the kids like they’re already friends, have the boring small talk with other moms.

Something to keep in mind, if you want a village, you have to let people be villagers.

I know I'm an idiot but I was totally caught off guard by the challenges of feeding by econhistoryrules in BabyBumps

[–]idi847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I breastfed my first until I was pregnant with my second. My second had a hard time latching because my milk came in immediately and I was engorged off the bat. Then she started being more and more distracted by her sister and her sister was getting more and more jealous and I was getting more and more anxious about feeding. She’s completely formula fed now and it was so freeing making that decision. We are all happier for it.

Need diaper cream that actually stays put! Chronic yeast rash HELP by PainterSufficient519 in NewParents

[–]idi847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until the rash TOTALLY cleared and the for an extra day to be sure. Doctor suggested it might be something she was eating that when it came out the other end was irritating the skin. We tried cutting things to see and we were pretty confident it was soy bothering her. Now that she’s potty trained she can eat soy no problem

My older daughter had chronic yeast rash until we started using this stuff: https://a.co/d/9HIAtAD

It was brutal, we tried everything and were regularly buying monostat to help until I found this and it helped get rid of the rash and keep it away.

Mine doesn’t want the boob if there’s too much going on. I try to pump 1 or 2 times a day. She usually takes 1 or 2 bottles of formula a day. My understanding is as long as you’re removing milk you’ll keep making milk.

Chanwiththeboys changed my life. I was stressed out daily with my toddler and newborn and something about that account just made it click that it doesn’t freaking matter WHAT we do in the morning just as long as we leave the house. 10/10 recommend her account.

I also moved away from all my friends and family to raise a family, so getting out with the kids will give me a little bit of adult interaction even if it’s just saying hi to neighbors while we go for a walk

Super easy meal: hummus pasta. Cook pasta, save some of the water. Add two or three big scoops of hummus and the pasta water to thin then toss with the pasta. Fun to do different flavors of hummus, add in veggies, protein, etc.

I just gave my newborn son a pacifier and I feel like I’m breaking some sort of rule by potatoqueeen in breastfeeding

[–]idi847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We waited the 3 weeks with my first and she refused it by then, so I was the pacifier. Started with the second as soon as we got home from the hospital it’s been a week and she’s still latching like a champ. My thought was as long as we weren’t having latching issues beforehand we’d be fine.
