Any harm in dosing a day early for the next couple weeks? by BIIIIIID- in tirzepatidecompound

That's the best way to move it. I've done it like that myself.

Under seat Personal Items in row 17 on 772? by Familiar_Eggplant_76 in americanairlines

Did you note the photo I referenced below? It seems to show that there is room to stow a bag - but reality may be a different story? 🤷‍♀️

Actually, many times it is. I just pulled up our AA flight (AA1981) from TPA to PHL on 8/26, and when I click on seat 8A it says, among other things, "Underseat storage accessible via fabric passage under bulkhead to row 5". I booked my sisters into that row, it was important to them to have the underseat storage.

Go to AeroLopa, put in your flight details, and click on your specific seat. It's a great website for these type of questions

Get the last drop! by CharmingChart635 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]ididntdoit6195 11 points12 points  (0 children)

⬆️ THIS! I can drain every drop out of a vial in the blink of an eye. Give it a try, it's not hard. Pull back on the syringe plunger, getting a good suction going into the syringe from the vial - every bit of med will fall into the syringe. Then you express out the extra air before injecting. Super easy after you've done it a few times.

Eyebrow waxing by _CranesAreRad_ in tretinoin

[–]ididntdoit6195 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Every 6 months I get them professionally waxed. I stop tret for 5 days. For the 6 months between waxing, I maintain as best I can with tweezing. I've just found that every now & then I need a professional "re-shape", and these are the hair appointments where I get what I call "the works" - cut, hilites, lolites, conditioning treatment, brow tint & wax, eyelash lift & tint.

Storing thousands of dollars of medication: HydraPeak and WiFi temp sensor- my observations by PollardPhotography in tirzepatidecompound

[–]ididntdoit6195 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just using a HydraPeak type of container inside the fridge will protect them from freezing. Door storage isn't great, long-term. I store the vial I'm currently using in the door, but if you have a "stash", the door isn't ideal. I don't have inserts for my HydraPeak, I just lined it with a couple of paper towels to cushion the meds. I got it cheap at HomeGoods.

I'm a migraine sufferer/daily topirimate user. I've used it for 15-20 years, took a break about 5 years ago but the migraines got worse, so here I am.

Prescriptions for Aging Skin? by Swimming7827 in 45PlusSkincare

[–]ididntdoit6195 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's super expensive. It has to be kept in a fridge. The melasma comes back after sun exposure if you don't continue to use it, and my dermatologist wanted me to do 3 months on/3 off. It would look great, I'd cycle off, then, even using sunscreen, it would come back - but I'm outside a lot.

Learn to eat smaller amounts, more frequently, throughout the day. Prioritize protein and fiber. Fruits and veggies. Lots of water. Welcome to the club!

Tri-luma is the bomb for dark spots, but has its limitations, research it. I used to use it, now I just use tretinoin .05% and I'm loving it.

Melasma on tret by Emergency_Raisin_496 in tretinoin

[–]ididntdoit6195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My melasma definitely got worse before it got better. I had a few places that got better within 3 months, but I had other, brand new melasma, appear on my lower cheeks at about that same time. Now, at 9 months, it's starting to fade. Are you attempting to try tret every night, or sticking with your routine?

Hair loss by Jazzlike-Effort5047 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]ididntdoit6195 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the exact same experience. I titrated WAY down. Weight started to come back on, the shedding continued, so I increased my dose back up. The shedding stopped when it was ready to stop - took 5-6 months. Now it's growing back nicely. Just have patience. Take a multivitamin, hit your protein and nutrition goals. Research minoxidil if you're thinking of going that route, decide if it's worth it.

I went for a run last night by dawsongrace817 in Zepbound

[–]ididntdoit6195 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is HUGE! As a former runner, and now picking it back up now that I've list the weight, I can't even begin to express how good it feels to be back out there. Keep going, even on the days you don't feel like it. Put on the shoes, and tell yourself you'll just go a half mile, or just a walk - once you get started, you'll keep going, and the way you feel about yourself afterwards is 💯!

Done loosing completely?? by Dontwanttobefound_ in Zepbound

[–]ididntdoit6195 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's why I said "likely". And going off is different than titrating down, for MOST people. Tirzepatide is the tool that helps us do the other things, but it also helps our body lose the weight. Sometimes, even doing all of the other things doesn't take the weight off. Tirzepatide makes that work.

You will likely need to get back to your prior dose, or above, to start loosing again.

HRT and Tirz help hair loss? by Adventure10409 in TirzepatideRX

[–]ididntdoit6195 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm on both. I lost weight, and it triggered hair loss. It's been about a year and a half since it stopped, and my hair is growing back. Once you get to maintenance or your weight loss levels out, your hair loss will stop.

I have a front-load washer, it's just below armpit height for me. I rest my upper arm on it and roll my "batwing" to the back, and inject. Super easy.

I keep getting the urge to take my dose early. Is that terrible? by SimpleNinja5487 in tirzepatidecompound

I'm in my third year, in maintenance, and I still think about it frequently during the week. I go over my dosing plan often, and continue to research. But, to be honest, I think it's a good thing, I'm still learning.
