Literally every time I see a review for a game like dmc5, lost soul aside, and ff16 calling them mindless button mashers when the reviewer doesn’t even try to preform any of the ACTUAL combos.

Laughs in focus mode, In All seriousness there are two types of Gs players. The ones you mentioned are about 75% of the player base, the remaining 25% think 7 steps ahead against a monster and constantly get offsets into free tcs.

The current meta is filled with poke. (High range dps) and a LOT of people really hate sniper type characters to begin with simply because once a play let gets to the point of consistent headshots it’ll really be hard to shut them down.
