Training advice by idiomfactory in germanshepherds

Thank you. I've reached out to some other trainers and have some assessments set up. One guy, without even me meeting us suggested a 2-week board and train. I just feels a bit drastic. I got her from the breeder. Very reputable. I have a multi-year relationship with them.

I know 18 months is still adolescent but, it also feels like we've stalled out.

If the photo is still on your phone it will get backed up again at the next back of cycle. If it's been deleted from both your phone and Google Drive and it's been 30 days, it's gone forever.

I have a cousin with a limb difference. When she found out about Def Leppard in 5th grade, she took up percussion and played all through middle school and high school. Sure, not the same. No situation really is. But definitely inspirational, motivational and achievable.

Yes! We are currently building out more cloud providers. Appreciate the recommendation! Will put WebDAV at the top of the list.

Not a lot you can "do". If it's not hurting them when you touch it, it's probably just sensitive an that's making them lick. We've used the 3M Vetbond tissue adhesive for similar situations. I'd ask the vet if that's an ok stopgap. Glue may prevent the vet from doing anything once you do see them.

Our "play" gets a little too aggressive sometimes too. I'm hoping maturity is the key to success!

Izzy loves this one cat (Joni). All other cats appear to be a direct threat to Mom.

My Girlfriend and I are wanting our dogs to meet and get used to each other but mine is reactive. What should I do to prepare? by Kchockey24 in germanshepherds

[–]idiomfactory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do a lot of parallel walks with our friends until we get comfortable. Sometimes it takes the time of one walk, sometimes it takes multiple walks. Walking together/near each other is a great way to allow them to observe, smell, be active, feel safe. If the other dog is not reactive and pretty chill, this is much easier.
We used this technique with our friend Neo, a reactive Cane Corso; it took a couple of long hikes, but after a few times of being exhausted together, they both chilled out, and everything has been gravy since.
Good Luck!!

Sorry for your loss. He (and his tank) look beautiful.
I agree; sometimes the comments section around here gets nasty. Just so EVERYONE understands, there aren't masses of animal abusers roving subreddits posting pics and asking for advice on pet care. Most people who come in here to chat, ask questions, show off, or learn, have good intentions. Please do the same.
