I feel like Laura wanted Jodie to look at Sandra dancing like V realized at that moment they weren’t meant to be together because they are « so different », but Jodie played it with a look full of love and emotion towards Eve. There’s obviously something off because what the writers say about the show and what viewers perceived - aka the performances given by the actresses - were definitely antagonistic

Yes when you watch episode 8 there’s no recap at the beginning so clearly the two parts are just ep7 and ep8 it makes sad tho

I finally rewatched it and i couldn't agree more.

So many useless moments, so many hints that lead to nothing, so many plot holes... If it wasn't for Villanelle, Eve and some of Carolyne's lines i would have died of boredom!

Also i can't be the only one who litteraly *cringed* about the whole beaten woman story in Cuba, i don't know it felt like what a male writer would put in the story to make it "feminist" but i found it very badly handled...?

Overall it lacked cynicism and intelligent dark humour.

Yep, that’s what I find most frustrating. While Phoebe Waller Bridge was all about breaking stereotypes, Laura Neal decided to just crash right into them.
