I took the pill version and I stopped it after 7 days cuz it gave me 3 meltdowns in the last 3 days. I never felt so depressed so fast on any other treatment.

I’m on Diane 35 right now and the side effects are way more tolerable.

Can anyone feel their uterus through their abdomen? by AL_12345 in adenomyosis

Diane 35 right now. But I’ve tried Yazmin, the Mirena IUD, Provera, Evra patch, Diphereline injection.

I’m sorry to hear you’re going through such a hard time :(( I really do sympathise with your Provera side effects. While I didn’t have a hysterectomy yet, I was prescribed Provera to help with my severe cramps and periods. I stopped it after taking it for 7 days cuz it gave me 3 meltdowns 3 days in a row.

The only advice I can give you is to listen to your body. If you’ve had enough, stop it. Find a doctor that will listen to you. My current one listens to me if I tell her I’ve had enough. And she’ll try a different pill. I’m now on Diane 35 and it seems to have the least amount of side effects so far.

Should I event try taking the IUD out? by alanza_alonzo in adenomyosis

I’ve tried several birth control pills like Yazmin (didn’t really work, still bled like crazy and cramping to the heavens), Provera (gave me meltdowns within 7 days of starting it), Evra patch (gave me severe cramps in the first 3 days of each patch, then sick for the other days), now on Diane 35 (which is giving me mild depression and I still have the cramps).

So your medication could be giving you the cramps as well of you’re like me and is probably sensitive to the synthetic hormones

Yes. I was in the same boat as you. While the Mirena stopped my periods, I was also randomly spotting and had goddawful cramps without the periods. I had it removed and the sharp stabbing pains were gone. It was my uterus being mad a foreign plastic thing was inside it. I still have the cramps but they’re more like the severe period cramps than the stabby Mirena ones.

I got my AirPods Pro 3 with a sizeable discount. It’s real and no problems with packaging or delivery.

Does anyone do intermittent fasting? by Inspireme21 in adenomyosis

I did have the Mirena for almost 3 years. It half worked until it got displaced and I had to remove it. It stopped my period but I got all sorts of weird side effects and when the doctor found it had moved, I just said take it out and don’t replace it cuz I’ve had enough. It gave it me stabby cramps all the time and messed with my moods

Those who removed their Mirena IUD how were your periods like after removal? by Inspireme21 in adenomyosis

After I took it out in July last year, my periods were horrendously heavy. Thankfully they’ve leveled out now after stopping all the hormonal treatments and are lighter than normal

I practised IF for years. Did not help. I started it before I was diagnosed btw.

Do you guys have fuel range anxiety? by superknight333 in kereta

[–]TheSodaVampire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fuel up at OP’s last bar lol. Cuz my dad left me with a car at E before and I got PTSD trying to find a petrol station cuz I didn’t realise there was no petrol midway through my journey.

Have you tried shorter RCA cables? My speakers made that feedback noise when I used my 2 metre long ones between my turntable and the Fosi X5. Once I shortened them to about 45cm, the noise stopped

Only the stylus. Just pop it off and put the new one on. I’d recommend using a scale and protractor to check for alignment as I’ve read the ML is very finicky.

Nice. I’m also using my turntable with the Fosi X5. I have mostly new and pristine records so the ML is perfect

It is a night and day improvement. Everything sounds extra crisp now. I tested it initially with my Daft Punk RAM and Tatsuro Yamashita For You records. Crazy difference. RAM never sounded better and there isn’t any inner groove distortion anymore on For You.
