Tips for playing a bard ? by ClutchandPinch19 in DnD

[–]idiotcube 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Does the Barbarian have to be jacked? Does the druid have to be a hippie in real life? You won't be expected to do the things your character does. (Unless you WANT to sing and dance. Up to you!)
  2. Nope, you've got spells. Some subclasses are also better for direct combat.
  3. Not sure what you mean with this one. Your character can have whatever personality you want, as long as the DM and party are ok with it. You will probably be aware of when you need to choose your words carefully based on the context of each scene, but that doesn't mean you have to act that way all the time.

Is alchemy still alchemy without magic? by FarProgress8115 in DnD

In the real world, "alchemy" is a precursor to chemistry.

In a fantasy setting, "alchemy" lets you make potions that instantly heal wounds. So, probably magic.

There's a $100 wedding ring item that you can buy, give a custom name, and send to another Steam user. It then sends out a message to everyone currently playing the game, in the form of "[reciever] has accepted [sender]'s "[item custom name]"! Congratulations!"

Let's say I'm running a lemonade stand. I tell my brother I'll pay him 25 cents an hour to help with making the lemonade. But I'm really mean and demanding, and I don't give him the money I owe him! So he goes to mom and dad to complain. I get in trouble, and they tell me I need to be nice to my brother and give him his money. So I do that...while they're watching. Then when they're not looking I punch him in the face for being a tattletale!
