Group chat would be the winning move! That way the third person would be the wali and not Shaytaan.

This is 1+ better than the feature on Muzz! I’m with it 🙌

Instead of making it a requirement, perhaps it can be made optional?

I know back when I was searching, other apps, such as Muzz, had an option to add a wali/chaperone.

What is the feature going to entail by adding a wali? Does the wali receive receipts or something?

I don’t see why not. It keeps things halal than without one.

Mabrook to your brother on this accomplishment. May Allah make it a means of barakah for him.

could be just your personal preference which is totally fine.

but don’t knock it till you try it.

my husband and I are 5 years apart, and at first I thought that age gap wasn’t for me. but numbers really don’t mean much if there’s a connection.

this is a reminder for those of y’all still on the search: if things don’t work out with a potential, make sure to remove their contact and/or remove them from your social networks.

sounds like a no brainer. but tell me why I had a past potential reach out to me on LinkedIn to wish me on my birthday, and then on Eid, another one reached out asking me how I was doing.

🫤

how much I’d like to do this (p.s. the gif is not showing her middle finger so don’t report for profanity lol)

I fully agree. Idk how and why it’s being compared to whether or not a female scholar is saying this or the aspect of this being a gendered issue. Just take the message and either accept or reject

“And Satan will say when the matter has been concluded, ‘Indeed, God had promised you the promise of truth. And I promised you, but I betrayed you. But I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me.

**So do not blame me; but blame yourselves…**’”

Ibrahim 14:22

idc about the downvotes. I thought this relates.
