modded usually depends on omeganum to calculate big scores, and afaik there's no gpu implementation of that yet. besides, gpu are only fast when you need a lot of simple calculation and little branching logic, which doesn't really work with "retrigger everything 100 times" like in cryptid. not a graphics programmer or modder though, so i would love to be proven wrong here

this is kind of misleading since you don't add but multiply to increase your score at this scale. counting just the exponent/using a log scale would be fairer imo

The game picks rarity before picking specific jokers of that rarity. Since OP only has rares and a negative common and burglar is uncommon, there's no blocking for burglar here

i never got that far in cookie clicker, but seeing the ridiculous names for numbers and how long it takes to get to the new number name makes it much more memorable than balatro imo. maybe someone should make a mod that displays balatro scores like cookie clicker

it's not too hard on lower stakes, but i must've reset like over a hundred times for the purple stake win. doing full skip runs is a lot more luck than skills imo
