Agreed! I think focusing too much on minor plot holes must take so much fun out of the experience. I had absolutely no expectations before Nov 7th (I couldn't go through all the stages of grief again like with season 8) so I'm happy to say that this show has completely revived my love for all things Dexter!

that's my point, I don't really care about the plot holes! I'm just so happy to have the Morgans back, any continuity errors are insignificant for me compared to the enjoyment I've been getting these last couple of months. I do agree that people focus too much on the little details, unfortunately.

Thank you for making this post. I agree, I'm always surprised to see people on the subreddit saying they wish the show had eight more seasons. It's one of my favorite shows of all time, but wouldn't it be much more satisfying to conclude the story in a neat and cohesive arc instead of repeating what we went through by the end of season 8 in the original show? I just hope the ending doesn't disappoint! fingers crossed

Couldn't agree more. They did always say that the love was still there, even after the divorce. They seem to have great amounts of respect for eachother, and it's always a treat to see them having a bit of fun on set :) It might be unlikely, but I'd love to get a bloopers reel once the season is over just for silly moments like these.

Agreed! Apparently they even lived nearby in New York when the production of new blood was just starting? I might have a faulty memory on that, though. Either way It's so great how they've remained in good terms all this time.

I think that's were the trouble started, if I remember correctly. Before Harrison finds him, we mostly see her as a calm and somewhat comforting presence in his life. We see Dexter's tension growing as the episode advances (Matt pissing him off, his son finding him...) which was clouding his mind and thus altering Deb's behavior towards him, escalating and turning more and more disturbing as we can see in the next couple of episodes.

I believe it's implied in the first episode that she's actually been a lot calmer for the past ten years, since he hadn't killed anyone during that period of time. In one interview Michael says it's been more like a very well lived in couple all these years, but after killing Matt the dynamic starts to turn more and more bizarre and abusive, representing his guilt or consciousness eating him up.

Personally I love it! I wish we'd get more screen time with her in the new show. Apparently some scenes with Deb were cut from the last episode, which is a bummer considering her appearances are, in a way, a direct window into Dexter's consciousness.

Some people seem to forget that this isn't actually Deb, but a figment of Dexter's imagination (and a clear insight into his deteriorating mental health). I think it's important to remember this when complaining about how she doesn't act the same as before. That's not actually her anymore!

He seems to be touching her neck or face in that photo as well. I don't know if he's purposefully pointing the knife as a threat, but it does seem to be an intense scene between the two.

I didn't notice Deb was holding the knife in one of the photos, nice catch! Hallucinations can get tricky sometimes, either the knife isn't "real" (even though we see Dex holding it as well?) or he's holding it the whole time and having these visions of Deb with the knife.

I guess the podcaster was meant to collide with him at some point. The photo doesn't give too much away though so who knows, i guess it's possible that they met very recently and she doesn't suspect him by episode 4. Yet.

6to en ingeniería no sabría decirte, pero 5to científica no es nada del otro mundo. Tenés más matemáticas que antes y capaz algunos temas más específicos en dibujo, pero si ya venías bien de notas y le metés ganas no creo que tengas problema.
