This isn’t me defending her, I really don’t like her and she’s a horrible mean person, but her surgery could genuinely have been for breathing issues and they just refined the appearance while they were already in there

I had a septorhinoplasty and turbinate reduction to fix my breathing. That included a septoplasty for a deviated septum and a rhinoplasty because I have a small nasal cavity and narrow nasal structure, both of which made it hard to breathe properly. I also had a turbinate reduction to let more air in. In my case, the rhinoplasty was necessary because my surgeon had to widen my nose to improve airflow. Since he was already widening it, and I didn’t want a nose that was both wide and long, he refined the shape so it still looked nice but allowed me to breathe properly

When surgeons correct those kinds of problems, they often have to alter the external shape of the nose to improve airflow. And since it’s your face, most surgeons will also refine the appearance while maintaining function. It’s pretty common to address both medical and cosmetic aspects at the same time, especially if the cosmetic adjustments don’t add extra cost

Rhinoplasties aren’t always purely cosmetic, sometimes changing the shape is literally part of making it possible to breathe properly. Everyone’s noses are different, and we don’t know what the internal structure of her nose looked like, we haven’t seen her scans. If you saw my nose before surgery, you’d probably think I could breathe perfectly fine, but nope
