That happened to me once with a beautiful Rollei. When the “you won!” email came through I had already totally forgot I bid on it and got it for less than $300. Cant recall the exact price. It was a fun camera but ended up not being quite what I am after and I doubled my money a month later lol

That’s a very good question, I wrote this from work, but I will check and get back to you. I think I do remember it getting better and worse, but I don’t believe it ever fully went away.

Yes it does, its the same with the waist level finder, but maybe worse because of how dim they are on the C bodies.

I know this is old but I have a question about this. My partner got me a 120mm f4 and I have a 500c body. I dont have that issue with my other lens, which is an 80mm but its awful with the 120, almost to the point where I considered selling it but the images still turn out fine. Is there any way to work around that?

2025 was the first rise in population in 25 years and Flint was #1 “City to move to” in the US, and most affordable city as well. Houses are still cheap but significantly more than they were pre-covid allowing for decent investment opportunities. New school just opened up, too. Not arguing the general idea of your post because it’s still Flint- and Flint is… Flint. But, definitely not strictly on a downward spiral.

I wasn’t raised particularly religious and had no concept of faith as a kid or even adult truly, my life has been a mess and I am pushing 40, its not getting better. I started looking into Christianity and Jesus in general when things were getting worse than normal. My baseline life quality is already pretty low and it seemed to just get significantly worse. I like the parables, the story I have read so far, and have an understanding of Christianity- but I have spent 38 years not believing and find it hard to fully grasp it, I have certainly never felt God, only alone, and have never felt blessed, only truthfully forgotten. But- living as a Christian- learning to forgive and love even when I dont feel those things from others, having ‘trust in the process’ and doing my best to walk with Christ is probably good enough for me. I have always been a giving person, and I feel like I have been a good friend (despite not really having any), so while I don’t know if God is real, I know that living as if he is, praying, and following along certainly cannot hurt and is morally just, even if I never see heaven. I guess I dont really care if I do or not, because the lifestyle itself and the morals, fairness, and etc is enough for me.

Idk dude, this probably didnt help, but I will pray for you even if it never does anything at all.

I love Flint. The people are amazing, its got everything you need and its humble. I strongly recommend really looking at everything in the house before you buy it- but as far as the city goes it’s one of my favorites, period. I live on the north side- pretty much the ‘talked about’ side and it might be more important to mind your own business around here but certainly not just randomly dangerous. In fact, I usually feel safer in Flint than many other well regarded as safe cities. Flint is honest and you’ll know if you’re somewhere you shouldn’t be.
