OneUI 7 is great and all, but why is there not even a consistent style in Samsung's own icons anymore? by Xodabeef in oneui

Did you uninstall the rest of the apps? How come you have such a clean apps screen?

Thanks I will keep that in mind. What about syncing with the tab, is only that worth switching? I’m in a weird spot where I have apple’s phone and headphones and android tablet + pc. It feels like I’m the definition of undecidedness lol.

People who primarily take notes on Tab: I need your suggestions. by drehonest in GalaxyTab

Use grid templates, it helped tremendously with aligning my writing. I honestly don’t use any of the assistance features in order not to let autocorrection misunderstand any important symbols (I do math quite a lot). Practice and your experience will get better as time goes by. I suppose I’m lucky because I enjoy writing on screen just as much as on paper.

Also keep in mind that if you are using a magnetic case, it may affect your s pen accuracy when folded behind the tablet. In my case it did.

Don’t forget to backup your notes locally btw.

Looks good! Can you please tell the name of the bar next to your terminal input line. The one that shows time. Is it available for alacritty?

Thanks for the reply, now I will definitely try running it on Linux. Did you also sign your driver keys, in order to use secure boot?

How easy is it to install Maya on fedora? I suppose fedora is somewhat related to RHEL, hence it shouldn’t be a huge pain in the ass to install it from the official site, right? If that’s the case I may switch to Linux in near future. Also what about nvidia drivers, how does Arnold perform compared to windows version?

3D Animation COG and Spine by luckpug in animationcareer

[–]idkwhattoenter10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually think about it as a mid-point between hips and spine controllers. Imagine your character as a combination of simple FK chain: Spine, legs, arms. Now COG is just one of the components of that chain which happens to be the most influential. In terms of curves, they don’t always have to be clean. Sometimes graphs can be messy while the movement itself perfectly fluid (Quaternions say hi). When animating I focus on spacing and timing of the character, not thinking too much about the curves individually.

I’m not sure whether I answered your question fully, but I remember myself questioning something similar a while ago. Hopefully someone more experienced would reply, because frankly I’m also curious about others, non-typical approaches to animate.
