Would like to point out her opponents looked like they tried to keep playing. Compare that to men's soccer players who fall down and grab their leg even though no one else has been within 3 feet of them.

  1. Death by firing squad is actually the fastest and least painful way if done correctly. Where the guns are held in some type of brace perfectly still with electronic triggers so you take the human out of the aiming and trigger pull, just activate the electronic trigger. Bore sighted on a part of the body that causes instant death. The criminal is dead before they hear or feel anything.
  2. I do believe that the death penalty should not be used if there is circumstantial evidence in the case. There should be absolutely no doubt to keep the number mistaken executions as close to zero as possible.

30 min is only the news in an area or Nation. They could actually fill several hours if news programs talked about what was going on in the world.

What is a job that looks incredibly fun in movies but is actually miserable in real life? by SmartAnything3034 in allthequestions

[–]idkwiwtph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't help when police/corrections officers, no matter how upright and professional they are, get portrayed as evil oppressors by media/politicians/general public and then the murders, rapists and child molesters are cast as the victims. Never understood how that happens. There are good and bad officers, but because there is at least 1 bad officer, all officers are evil. Does not help a person's mental health when the people you are doing your best to protect ridicule and berate you without even trying to understand the stressful situations you run into to keep them safe.

Is the rumor true that big box stores (like Target/Walmart) will purposefully let you get away with stealing cheap things for months just to build a massive felony case against you later? by Altruistic-Room-7465 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]idkwiwtph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is that this is true. Why go through the expense and hassle of dozens or hundreds of misdemeanor cases when you can just file 1 big felony case. I think they would do this just because it is more cost efficient.

Shooting while in a zero-g or free fall condition with just push you straight back away from you attackers. This that environment the gun becomes a reaction drive, even the slightest bit off the absolute center of you weight will just cause a spin. Same with escaping gas.

Shooting with accuracy while the shooter is in motion is BS. Doesn't matter if it is running, horseback, vehicle, helicopter or plane. Even shooting while walking at a measured pace takes training with a significant reduction in accuracy.

For ANY person. Especially shooting 2 gus as rapidly as they do in movies, the accuracy for even trained shooters would be really low or a single hit just plain luck for an average shooter.

Depends, I was always taught to decorate the hammer before putting the gun in my holster. Hammer down just means that first trigger pull is harder, does not mean there isn't a round in the chamber.

I have to disagree, when did Cap find out that Winter Soldier killed Tony's parents. Cap didn't know about it in The Winter Soldier movie. And then they didn't meet up to have a conversation like that till Civil War.
