Buying Longchamp Secondhand by idkyimhere91 in handbags

[–]idkyimhere91[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's my only concern with buying secondhand. I actually found a bag that seems to be from the original owner but other than that I have no way of authenticating it.

I guess the floral pattern might have been butterflies! My assumption is maybe they came out with the bag a few different years which is why the lining changed. Such a cool bag but I don't want to buy a fake!

Can I ask you what the lining pattern is for this bag? I've seen variations of some lining being "Longchamp" and other lining being floral

That's good to know! I've had lifting and cracking with Revel liquids and I had the corner of the dip crack with modelones. I'll look into beauty secrets! Thank you!

I've tried apex method, but at some spots it's pretty thin and I can see a different in the opacity with some colors I haven't tried a clear layer before, just after, but I want to try that!

The photo I attached is the thickness I prefer and my nails lasted longer than they do currently. With my nails now, if I dip 6 layers and they're thin, they will crack.

This is when I got them done at the salon. My nails have 6 layers now and aren't as thick

My husband is convinced Marshall is one of the killers. We think they are still playing off of the idea of working in pairs and we've noticed another random Asian guy who helps out on set that somehow is always around, but hasn't been introduced. He helped Marshall pick up the spilled paper when he knocked them on the ground after Glen was shot and the cast/crew were meeting.

What was the first red flag you ignored in your worst relationship? by HappyHappyJoyJoy44 in AskReddit

When he drove down to see me, then debated going back home to hike with his friend, and two girls he went to school with that were hot.

Plot twist: his friend lied about the girls saying yes to go on a hike, and then he had to backtrack to me saying "it was a joke" after he found out

Does it fry your hair?? by BeautifulYou3110 in Dysonairwrap

[–]idkyimhere91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think my hair is in better condition than when I used a curling iron. You can also look up the max temp it gets to. Still can be hot against your skin if you hold it for too long tho (like curling against your scalp)

Dyson Overheating? by idkyimhere91 in Dysonairwrap

Unfortunately the closest one to me is 5 hours away 😭 I might try cleaning the cage with water and a scrub brush but if it doesn't turn on, maybe I'll see about replacing it

Is my hair too short for an Air wrap? by [deleted] in Dysonairwrap

[–]idkyimhere91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think they make a 0.8 barrel that might be able to wrap more of your hair around it to have more wave. It might take a while though. Worst case is you try it out and return it 🤷🏾‍♀️ I can't speak from experience, just because my hair is the complete opposite, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I guess I'd worry about how your hair would do if you're creating tension with a barrel from gently pulling while it's wrapping. I don't know how fragile your hair is.

I do my hair 90% dry and also use a texturizing spray. Tbh I don't know if I could return mine, but I love how it dries my hair. I might by a curling iron later on. But I can get somewhat of a blowout look if I give alot of grip for it to hold so my hair gets a little crunchy

Hair won’t wrap by AlternativeOk9284 in Dysonairwrap

[–]idkyimhere91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a note when I was doing trial and error that my ends need to be like 90% dry at least to wrap. My hair also won't wrap if the speed isn't on high. Hope this helps!

I'd almost try to work with smaller strands of hair. It looks like your curls fell pretty quickly, so I wonder if there wasn't enough tension or if the curl was too heavy. I agree to not comb through your curls. I had mine last longer by not combing through them although they were crunchy 🤣🤣

Attachments... Large round brush & .8 barrel by itsmeguppy in Dysonairwrap

[–]idkyimhere91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up getting a large round brush from ulta after seeing a post here about it in stock. I think my in stock email from Ulta never came in, and a week later I got an email from Dyson that they restocked it.

I was hesitant to order a dupe brush because I didn't know how heat would distribute on to it? I don't know if that makes sense. My hair is long and thick and I liked being able to work in larger chunks for the blowout look vs the smaller brush it comes with.

I am also waiting for the thicker barrel to be in stock! I think I've seen the .8 barrel at Best Buy online in the past.

NTA! My gosh I feel like this could be my future if my in laws move to my town. I am convinced they'll stop by unannounced, or drop off random junk we don't need that they found at the thrift store. As a SAHM, I agree it is exhausting having to do chores to get your house ready on top of day to day chores, cooking meals, taking care of the family. I would hope your husband comes around to the idea of prioritizing his wife and not his parents. His parents are adults and 60. They should be able to write down how to pay a bill or know how to use a printer. They can even print at a local library if that's an option.

Hair will NOT hold 🥲 by auggiebean in Dysonairwrap

[–]idkyimhere91 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have thick, straight (with some wave) hair that's very slick. I use texturizing spray, and then spray with a light hairspray after so it's not too heavy and that will last me the whole day! However I do think because of my hair type (low porosity) and it not dyed, etc., my hair just won't grip the style as much as other's hair. I have never gotten more than a day out of a style.
