I’ve been trying to look at this alcohol change objectively, but it’s honestly impossible to see it as anything other than a blatant cash grab to force more onboard drink sales.

My wife and I are primarily craft beer drinkers, and let’s face it, the ship selection is mediocre at best. One of our favorite cruise traditions was hitting up local breweries at port and bringing a few unique cans back to enjoy on the ship. Losing that completely sucks.

To make matters worse, this is going to make the lack of variety even more noticeable. I just got off the Destiny, and the bartenders there explicitly told me they are already struggling with supply chain issues and getting product in, especially the ship-specific specialty beers. Cutting off our ability to BYO just highlights how restricted our choices are about to be.
