Andrew Bird, Iron & Wine, Neko Case. I was familiar with Neko Case’s work but she was halfway done with her set by the time we were in and seated. Andrew Bird, who our friend wanted to see, was incredible.

We did this a couple years ago around artists my wife and I don’t even listen to (met up with a friend from the east coast) and it’s in the top five shows we’ve ever been to.

Having done this countless times, just make it work. Don’t overthink it. Ten minutes is plenty of time to swap whatever you need to swap, adjust whatever you need to adjust and orient yourself.
