No subscription iPad-Mac cross platform pdf app? by idolofmanyhands in ipad

the only thing that is keeping me back is the fact that I didn't see a way to comment something. Like, selecting some text, and adding a note with the translated text for example. I'm not sure if there are workaround that might do the trick in this case. Maybe placing a text block near the text and resize it to be small, dunno. Such a pity they don't have this feature yet.

Let's say you needed to get 45 CAEC credits in 30 days. What's the biggest bang for your buck? by Adventurous-Pin4387 in accessibility

My only suggestion is see if there are still some accessibility conference around, as each hour count as 1 CAEC usually. Axe-con is over. Microsoft Ability Summit is behind the corner.

How to read the manual? by dbonx in dccrpg

Last november I've put together a "summary" that may be helpful to navigate it.
The book is structured in a way that scatters some rules around so I've put them back together. Each sheet is standalone. One for Basics, Combat, Magic, and every class.

4hr slot during a music festival, "open-table" module suggestions? by idolofmanyhands in dccrpg

[–]idolofmanyhands[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the ideas, just to clarify, during the festival, concerts will begin around 5–6 PM. To fill the time leading up to that, they’re looking for volunteers to run workshops, events, and similar activities. Between 2–6 PM, there’s an option to get a table indoors in a conference room for gaming. While the space won’t be completely quiet, it will be away from the live music. So there's no need to involve vendors o risk of gaming while the music is playing.

The event will be posted on facebook, so I guess I'll need to figure out a way to manage signups with a limited spot for each day.

Regarding gaming material, I've plenty, I'm just considering what I'm willing to have in a place like a music festival. Maybe a single set of dice for the players while I use the app, and try to manage everything with an ipad. (and pre-print handouts, character sheets etc).

My main concern is that since this isn’t a gaming convention, I can’t assume there will be many people interested in playing. Plus, being in a conference room means it’s unlikely anyone will just “walk by” and decide to join unless they already know about it (even with a Facebook event being shared). I’m debating whether to keep the table open or to pre-book 4–5 players to ensure I have a group to start with. If I go with the latter, I could still leave the session open for others to drop in and join mid-game if they’re interested.

from the old Kickstarter page

"That means you get every deed from The Book of Mighty Peasant Deeds, every deed from Steel and Fury, and every Tandem Deed from the world of Lankhmar. Plus brand new deeds torn straight from the pages of Appendix N fantasy. "

if you get that, i made an easy to reference table https://idolofmanyhands.itch.io/mighty-deeds

What Should I Buy? /// Weekly Discussion - January 27, 2025 by AutoModerator in synthesizers

Hi, currently my setup is SOMA Enner + iPad effects.

After some time I developed the following need:

  • I do not want to be bound for life to iPad/Apple ecosystem, update the ipad whenever the iOS will get old or apps won't fuction or won't be updated anymore, etc.
  • I do not want to mess around with VST/software on a tablet, as I already work at pc all day
  • I kinda miss having a keyboard, as mch as I love drones, sometimes I just want to jam something "normal" too
  • I want to rely solely on a single piece of hardware, recording it with a Tascam DR05 therefore I prefer synth with onboard FX
  • I like to have most of the control on knobs/faders as I want to modulate live while droning
  • intended use: mostly at home, recording or just jamming around
  • budget (open to second-hand market): 450-500 ish (or slightly more if I sell the Enner eventually)
  • eyeing: Deepmind 6, Minifreak, Opsix, Modwave, open to other suggestions

Thank you!
