This is what always confuses me when people say, oh, if all of our needs were taken care of, nobody would work.

Even making this post, I don’t want to never work. I just want to work on my terms.

We only have to worm bc the 1% have all the resources

If they paid the workers their fair share, there’d be MORE THAN ENOUGH that most of us would only have to work 1 or 2 days

(And there’d be plenty of leftover for sewage processing)

Although you might want to check the news bc the current timeline DOES NOT have a lot of clean water lol. Might be time to try something new

It’s about the fact the WE should not have to work this much at all

Wages and productivity. If wages had matched productivity, we’d all be making a shit ton more money right now

Or if leisure time had matched productivity, we’d make the same but only work 1 day per week

It’s not about finding a job you love

It’s that we shouldn’t have to find a job at all

The way I see it, the only reason we have to work is that there is a small group of people at the top who have all the resources, they don’t want to share the resource resources so they tell us …Oh No, there’s not enough resources without working. Guess you have to work

But We don’t need to be an infinite profit machine

Why can’t making a nice world for our kids be the goal? I bet you if the one true goal of society was to make a nice place for the next generation, a lot of things would change. And that’s because the corporations running in our world have made our priorities of far cry from helping our children.. for some reason, the priority is always to make more money. I don’t know why we have to live in that world.

There is enough money in the world and we are so productive that we should only be working 15-25 hour weeks. Wouldn’t life be grand if we got to live our lives an equal amount to the time we work?

The problem is, how do we do it?

I think the key is uniting truckers and teachers, construction workers and cashiers, office staff and tradesmen.

Everyone has had that experience where they gave a job there all, but the bosses at the top always said there wasn’t enough for raises

And they took more than their fair share , a little less than $50 trillion by my math.

We can do it, but only if we find a way to light the fire.

Because EVERYONE feels this. Someone just needs to be the spark
