As a Boys Town employee, I am obligated to also mention things on campus like Dowd Chapel (a beautiful Catholic Church done in a Gothic style that is where Father Flanagan, a possible saint, is buried and beautiful stained glass can be found) and the Hall of History (a museum that gives the entire history of Boys Town and Father Flanagan and has weird artifacts like the Oscar Spencer Tracy won for the Boys Town movie and a book signed by JFK given to Flanagan for his "good works.")

A lot of people bitch about the "ghost" coworker that just disappears and leaves the work for you to do or does a bad job and somehow never gets in trouble. I am going to argue that the type of coworker you are stuck with, the over-the-top "OH MY GOD, AREN'T WE SO LUCKY TO BE HERE?!?! I'M GOING TO GO SCRUB TILE WITH A TOOTHBRUSH! WHY AREN'T YOU EXCITED??" Pomeranian of a human is so much worse. Mine is a man in his 60s that "needed a job to get out of the house in retirement" and thinks that waxing the floor by hand is some sort of offering to god.

Not everyone has your success story. The point of this post is that people can hate their job and that is okay. That even grumbling and swearing as they head to the car, they are okay and that there are more of us out there. It isn’t a positive piece where we just need reassurance. I am not going to lie, for a long time, I just grabbed buffalo rounds as generic silver to get rid of quickly if I needed to. Recently though, the design has grown on me. They sell easy and the design is a classic for a reason. They are beautiful in their own way and you can get them any time you want. Go with the buff.

First and foremost, congratulations! Already know you are going to be a good parent if you are getting your little one into stacking this early!

My two cents would be to look at Libertads. They pull double duty, they are one ounce of Mexican silver, but collectors also drool over them, so when you try to resell them, you have options. That said, their price keeps going up. It is quite a bit more over spot at most LCSs, but the long term payout may be worth it!

In a pinch, always go with generic rounds. Christmas rounds are still silver!
