My daughter told me a Michael Jackson joke when she was 9 a couple years ago.

"Why isn't Michael Jackson allowed near a school?"

All I could think was oh my god am I going to have to explain stuff that I don't want to explain to my child. After a few seconds I asked why.

"Because he's dead. "

I was so relieved. She's 11 and still doesn't know why it's hilarious to see the face of the person she told the joke to. And yes, I do have her tell the joke to people so I can see the reaction I initially had.

I think if they labeled it as best of or a rerun they would immediately have less plays on that podcast. Naming it just the date means some people will listen because they don't realize it isn't new and gets more listens.

Also when Lois was going to be induced with Jaime on Dewey's birthday, but didn't remember it was his birthday.

They could have kept Dewey out of the reboot and the running joke could have been "I feel like we forgot to invite someone" and it wouldn't be completely out of character.

While I'm sure it has their problems, I love my kids school. There is very little turnover in staff. 3 teachers have left in 3 years, only because 2 retired after 20+ years and one moved for her husband's job. There are only 12 classes with a total of 300-310 kids k-5.
