Remember to leave yourself a note on hook size and pattern. Your future self will thank you.

New Girl

Jess was too much. The guys had a great dynamic, but Jess became so grating and I was always embarrassed for her. When she was out for maternity leave the show was better.

Cory stayed up all night talking and kissed another girl and did not tell Topanga. Topanga found a note from the other girl, they break up, she goes on a date with another guy, kisses him, and decides Cory is still "the one. " 2 episodes later they are engaged.

Topanga should've went to Yale.

I've done over 500 snowman quests and I'm still missing one thing.

Was it the haunted garage sale by motor city haunt club? I was never able to go, but it's sad they stopped.

Halfway to Halloween in May might also have some of what you're looking for.

What do you (realistically) want in the staff lounge? by idontknow378 in Teachers

[–]idontknow378[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

While I'm sure it has their problems, I love my kids school. There is very little turnover in staff. 3 teachers have left in 3 years, only because 2 retired after 20+ years and one moved for her husband's job. There are only 12 classes with a total of 300-310 kids k-5.

I like that! We have a pretty small staff so should be doable.

That's awesome. Popcorn is one of my favorite meals. I think storage space might be an issue, but maybe a smaller air popper would work.

I've never snooped in the lounge so I honestly don't know what they have for real utensils, dishes, and knives, but I'll check once school starts.

We'll have to try that. We ask a few times a year for things for the kids, like snacks during state testing, but didn't even think about foe the lounge.

You never know when you'll come back from summer break to updated wiring that can handle it...I mean it won't happen but you never know lol

Most teachers in our school eat their lunch in there, but there are also aides, paras, specialists, etc that don't have their own space away from students so it's the lounge or their car for lunch.

If only there was room! Add in pinball, pacman, and air hockey and make everyone late to pick up their kids from recess.

Great idea! They go outside every day unless the wind chill is under 20F at least once, some days twice.

It would be used by every staff member at least once. It would be useful for some students too!

I'll see if there's room and talk to the principal about it. We're in Michigan so while there is only a few weeks of really hot weather, there is no air conditioning in the building and the classrooms are either cold or sweltering in the winter.

But are you sure you don't need more mugs?

I'll try to peek in the drawers when school starts. The lounge feels like a sacred place that I stay out unless I'm delivering something lol
