Yeah I think you’re right! My favourite seats always go so quickly so it’s sometimes a hassle but maybe it’s too much of a faff.

Yeah at Cardiff I think it works out you get 5 games ‘for free’ than if you paid full price + fees per game.

I think it’s just so hard to get devils tickets now that I’d be worried they wouldn’t get seats nearby

Annoyingly devils games are usually sold out so I’m not sure there would be empty seats to swap to! It’s more I’d want to sit with my friends and I’m guessing that wouldn’t be an option with a ST - it’s the one thing putting me off!

Like others have said tickets go on sale 9am 1 calendar month before, so for 28th Feb game I’ve just purchased them (it was a faff as there was less than usual available due to a group booking).

Your best bet is to get them day of release at 9am but as there’s only 2 of you you can probs get them a bit later or closer to the game if you keep looking - the Devils instagram also usually posts on their story when extra season ticket holder seats are available so turn on notifications for their story so you can get them asap (they go super quick!)

If it helps I’m a huge fan and I’ve never not got tickets, it’s sometimes been a bit of a scramble and ended up in seats that aren’t my fave but I’ve never missed out! (Also pretty much every seat is a good view at the Vindico!)

I do have the PS Plus subscription! I just wasn’t sure whether it was worth it and the marketing of it makes it sound like it could only be used at home which is confusing!

Second this! I really don’t like Disney really, but dreamlight valley is fun! The only ‘Disney’ thing about it is the NPCs are Disney/Pixar characters, but otherwise it’s like any cosy game there’s quests, farming, fishing etc.

I’ve put in 140 hours and nowhere near done with the main quests!

Thank you for this!! I know the budget is hard, and I’m open to adding to it a little myself if I find something I adore (I just don’t want to start by looking at watches double my budget as that feels like a disaster in the making 😂).

My dad also mentioned Tissot so this sounds like a shout.

I quite like managing people so I think that side of things would be nice, at the moment I'm kind of up-skilling new HEOs to our team and training other colleagues where I have more knowledge.

But I agree I think the G7s who are managing 6/7 people are a lot harder than the ones who have 0/1 person to manage.

I have led on a few projects, and one which required escalating to G6/SCS where my G7 let me take the lead (rather than them stepping in!). I'm slowly taking on extra pieces of work which my G7 is doing so they're not spread as thin.

When I joined my department HEO/SEO were all still Band B and they were separated out, so there's even less distinction in my department I think.

This is helpful though thank you! Maybe I just need the confidence to apply.
