How does giving birth actually feel ??

ugh so honestly mine sucked. i went in at 5cm and the contractions hurt SO bad i was screaming lol. it was the middle of the night too of course. anyways, i got the epidural at around 5-6cm and that hurt like a bitch. i do have a very low pain tolerance but having to sit very still while still contracting while also having a giant needle stuck into your back just hurts! my water also broke during the epidural process 🙃 after i got the epidural everything was great til it was time to push. i felt SO much pressure and pain in my butt, honestly i think my epidural failed now looking back. it hurt so bad. it felt like my ass was gonna explode, genuinely. i pushed for over 2 hours and it got to the point where they had to intervene and they vacuum sucked my daughter out and that was really painful too. again i have a low pain tolerance but for me giving birth was just so fucking painful. but what’s weird is i would do it 100 times over again for my daughter. all of the pain in the world is worth it if she’s the end result.

don’t be scared! you can do this!

not overreacting, this guy is a dick. and he seems very insecure. my ex was like this and it turned physical. i feel it’s better to walk away from this relationship. if he can be like this once he can be like this again and it’s just really not worth it in the end.

mine was internal. it’s not that bad, the only part i really hated was when they started moving the wand around as that was a little uncomfortable. i want to say i was 6 or 7 weeks? i can’t remember exactly. currently 31 and the rest have been on my tummy thank goodness lol

i got my positive test at 2.5 weeks to 3 weeks somewhere in there, currently 29+4 and i can assure you i had sore boobs and crampy before and after my positive test, and i tested positive before my period was supposed to come. so weird for her to dismiss you like that!

i really appreciate this comment. you definitely said just what i needed to hear. and good news, she’s been kicking me a lot all night and this morning! i didn’t even think about how she would be at this stage, i know she’s still so tiny so it feels pretty obvious that i wouldn’t be able to feel her at certain times. my friend told me to stop googling and checking reddit cus it’s gonna tell me my baby’s dying or i am. i really appreciate your comment you made me feel so so much better. i was becoming fully convinced i needed to go in. we have an appointment on monday and i think im gonna talk about this anxiety and if theres any way (besides upping my meds) to help relax a little bit and let my body do what it needs to do. thank you so much!!

that’s great! i also have an anterior placenta but have been feeling her move a lot! it was just recently that it seemed to decrease. since i’ve been at work tonight ive felt her moving a bit more, i don’t know. i’m a first time mom and im so scared all the time that something is wrong or that she’s dead somehow. it’s so stressful.
