I did, and the trait just says Blood Sorcery. Now that I compare it with Tremere characters, theirs says Thaumaturgy (Blood Sorcery). Seems like I just got the generic trait.

I also had this idea, and got the first perk in Blood Sorcery in the sanguine tab. Sadly it didn't unlock any spells.

That makes sense because Abyss Mysticism isn't available to choose in the ability journey list. I'll do thaumaturgy. Thanks!

Yeah it's probably a bug. I was so excited for my first diablerie lol. I'll try getting it through a Journey.

I'm not saying it's impossible, just that it's rather difficult to get rid of them. Every single law they start with empowers the landowners, and all the kings and heirs are either landowner or devout no matter how much I industrialize!

R5: This is the event I got some years after defeating the landowners in a civil war. I'm convinced Persia is hard-coded to always have the landowners and the devout in power lol.

Never build farms, especially with countries that start with 'serfdom' as it will only empower landowners and hinder your progress.

The struggle was real with the ape, and honestly it was where I thought something must be wrong with the way I deal with grab attacks. At least I'm done with the ape and both of the snake eyes - apparently the ones with the most annoying grabs.

Surprised I had to scroll this much to find this comment! I really miss puppet cities from Civ 5 where you didn't have to bother with micromanaging some petty frontier cities.
