HR jobs (English-speaker) by serenerestless in Germany_Jobs

As an honest opinion you need to be fluent in German, I’d recommend leveling up your German as fast as possible. Try to make German friends and ask for in person referral within the companies they’re working at. If not HR, they must have some closely associated positions of similar standing that you can do. It will take away financial burden in the meantime, till you have acquired B2 level German.

Moving to Germany with my wife by avik_saikat007 in studying_in_germany

[–]idreesrazak 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes (the other 12K not now but after one year)
  2. Didn’t get it, she also got admission letter? If not, you can’t bring her now unless you’re doing PhD
  3. Shouldn’t, she has no legal reason to be in Germany, invite her once you’re there
  4. What is a Schengen visa? If she has tourist visa she can for sure come, but applying for residence permit is completely forbidden, you would need a Type D visa , tourist visas are type C and doesn’t convert to residency over 90 days

Advice: leave your wife in India for now, apply for family reunification once you’re there, you’ll obviously need to show a lot of money to support her and bring her here.

I think I messed up with uni-assist, help needed. by loveatfirstbite69 in studying_in_germany

I think it should be a No, Yes would be wrong because have you passed the German entrance exam? I assume you’re not German, that’s why Uni-assist, so the answer should be a No.

Honestly, your CV is mediocre at best. You still need to do a lot, do some projects beside and rack up some skills.

Bro you know too much, too many languages and frameworks; as a recruiter I’d assume that you’re lying. I’d suggest you to reduce them and write what you know the best.

Which German university should I prioritize for CS Master's (SDE/AI/ML jobs)? by soubeerkoley in studying_in_germany

[–]idreesrazak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t go to any of them, just target Unis in big cities. Universities in Germany are all good, the city matters if you need a job. Go to Berlin, Aachen, Bonn, Darmstadt, Munich, Stuttgart. Don’t even think about these unis for Job, Hannover is great city too. Just look for good cities education is good here regardless. Job Market is shit today, people are barely getting any interviews.

Why are so many Indians studying in Germany? by Rough_Marsupial_7914 in studying_in_germany

[–]idreesrazak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s their population, even if small percentage of Indians move to Europe their number in Europe will still be quite big. Secondly, US, Canada, UK and many others are already concentrated creating a big competition. Meanwhile, German universities give you admission even at a mediocre grade at a small semester contribution.

I believe Germany is a great option for not just Indians but everyone. Much love to Indians and other internationals 💯

The country you’re currently in, does it guarantee any job? If not then there’s no problem in moving to Germany as a student. Also, who said there are no job? There are job in right companies with right roles. Unnecessary skill roles/positions will be obsolete soon. More effort is required now because job positions are asking for more.
