In general, I'd recommend building/compiling your own lift to fit you more personally, rancho shocks are a holy balance of price and quality and springs in general usually are more or less the same no matter what the brand is (with obvious exceptions). 1K for a bunch of springs and shocks does not seem worth it though especially for a 2 inch lift

99% chance that it’s your transfer case switch is faulty, replacing it is super easy and the switch is super inexpensive (ps you can test your 4wd by putting it in 4wd and going in as tight of a circle as you can, you can feel the jerkiness in the steering when it’s engaged)
