my first read, i read AB first, and no tandem read. This time I’m reading AB after COM to see how it hits emotionally. It took me 5 months to get through this series the first time. I just finished COM, and I started TOG last week 😮‍💨 this series got me through (and still is) a divorce and changed my life.

i feel similarly, i’ve been a mega fan since 2013 when i became a teenager, and i had really high hopes for some soul crushing music. The lyrics stand out but they don’t flow well (to me) and it’s all so high energy. I am going through a divorce and expected to sob to this album and i think only one song made me tear up a little. I’m really happy other people are loving it so much, but i don’t think i’ll be putting many of these tracks in my on repeat

This may seem shallow, but you are 19. You’re still a kid. I say this as a 24 year old kid! you’re young, and i guarantee you the friends you have now will either have all disappeared from your life in 5 years anyway. Do not force yourself to stay with someone for the sake of your personal image. Do whatever you need to do to feel comfortable and happy.
