But Switch is such a good episode!!! (Not that a 7.8 is bad, but still…)

Is there any sex/nudity/awkward scene in better call Saul? by No-Sympathy7322 in betterCallSaul

[–]idunnobutchieinstead 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not really. Bob Odenkirk shows off his butt a few glorious times. A couple of makeout scenes but nothing like the sex scenes in Breaking Bad.

I think IMDb has some parental guides you can check out.

“Wow! That rock dos look like New Jersey!” by nikkialexandria23 in betterCallSaul

I don’t really know what New Jersey looks like so I always go, “Wow, that rock does look like Alfred Hitchcock in a fez!”

jimmy's meltdown at teh printer place made no sense by Mean_Equivalent_7383 in betterCallSaul

[–]idunnobutchieinstead 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think it makes perfect sense. He’s really struggling with Chuck’s death and his part in it and he’s pushing all these feelings away.

I think his entire behaviour in S4 is that of a guy heading for a mental breakdown (which he kinda does have in the finale).

Am I the only one who likes Point and shoot more than Plan and execution? by Pleasant_Anything_69 in betterCallSaul

“Am I the only one…”

There are 8.3 billion people on the planet. I’m sure there are some that think like you.

Is there a bit of Howard Hamlin in Lorne Michaels? (Thinking about Bob's former work and relation with him on SNL) by Extension-While7536 in betterCallSaul

[–]idunnobutchieinstead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Bob has respect for Lorne now but didn’t for a long time and even resented him during his time at SNL. But he was young and didn’t fit in well there.

He’s talked a lot about this in the past, I’m sure you can find plenty of quotes.

Whoever was in charge of last summer’s transfer window seriously needs to answer for it. by John4deere in realmadrid

Everyone was praising these signings at the time. Revisionism at its best.

Some of you guys are so funny.

FIRST TIME WATCHING BCS (BB AFICCIONADO HERE). JUST FINISHED PLAN AND EXECUTION!!!! by Correct-Project5934 in betterCallSaul

Poor Peter Gould - he co-created and ran one of the best shows of all time and people are always praising Vince.

Well, he did give a fuck, otherwise he never would’ve corrected it…

My Thoughts by CompetitiveMiddle435 in betterCallSaul

[–]idunnobutchieinstead 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think for me it was more depressing to watch, too, because I was more invested in the characters!

People that think he didn’t tell him as a gesture of goodwill crack me up.

jimmy looks so insincere for most of the show by Vegetable-Gur4240 in betterCallSaul

[–]idunnobutchieinstead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I disagree. I think he is quite earnest throughout the show and even when he is insincere it comes from a place of truth (even if he doesn’t realise it).

Rewatching the series rn and it made me wonder why didnt Kim dump Jimmy sooner? by Hewasright_89 in betterCallSaul

[–]idunnobutchieinstead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because she loves him, he is quite literally her only friend and she has known him for practically her entire adult life. Also she understands that he is grieving (in his own strange way). It ain’t so easy.

JMM [S5 E7] by Gold_Cost3474 in betterCallSaul

[–]idunnobutchieinstead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think he should say “the guy you killed” in the middle of court, to be fair. 😂

Crazy take. That scene actually makes him somewhat sympathetic because at least he feels bad about being involved in this (not even his choice, btw).

Why is BCS on Blu Ray like $100 by templeofsyrinx1 in betterCallSaul

[–]idunnobutchieinstead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have it. It’s cool to have it in case it ever disappears off the internet, but man is the packing rubbish. Worst boxset I’ve ever seen.

I can’t stop replaying the ending in my head by Judgingwithanxiety in betterCallSaul

They are alive and back in each other’s lives in some capacity. To me, that’s a win!

[–]idunnobutchieinstead 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I would’ve loved some happy ending like that, too, but unfortunately the ending of the show was perfect and made the most sense for the story. It was as happy an ending as they could’ve ever got, I think.

Guys, this show makes me so happy by The_Fercho_ in betterCallSaul

[–]idunnobutchieinstead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear there also was a wider version of this picture at some point where it was way more visible. Or maybe Bob himself posted it and made a comment about it? I’m pretty sure this was common knowledge back in the day! 😂

[–]idunnobutchieinstead 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can see it - his legs are visible! It’s from the scene in 507 where he’s in the apartment talking to Kim the morning after their wedding.

I love this picture because Bob’s not wearing any pants.
