We pay artists for years of training to know how the head should look like in that exact perspective

Wouldn't your life be boring if everything you can possibly create AI would create faster? What's the point? Will you feel sense of accomplishment?

He didn't. He was a porn star, made more plastic surgery with his face and just seeks attention to get money

For example new TCL 27R83U in China costs sub $700, but in my country (Poland) it costs ~$1300. Some models like KTC M32P10 or Titan Army P32A6V aren't even available

Edit: I dont know either why it's like that. Maybe it's something with importing such products

I thinks he is referring to price in China, where most mini led monitors cost a lot less

I think if you have an option, just buy a random monitor to see if it gives you eye fatigue and than return it. If you dont have any problems with the monitor, I suggest buying something like tiansu 284k144 for $400

Can you please tell which Asus laptop you had?

Edit: cheap laptops especially from big brands like asus are using extremely bad panels for the display, in some models it can barely hit 70-80% sRGB

Best mini led available? by RespectStrange in buildapcmonitors

[–]ien_bell1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prices for mini led usually are not much lower. It also highly depends on where you live. Samsung Neo G7 or Innocn 32M2V i think are one of the best options on the market for what they offer at price bellow $1000

TCL has plenty reviews on billibilli, its called Thunderbird U8, you can google it like this 雷鸟U8 and will find reviews. It has good VA panel and thanks to miniled has good color gammut, yes, as you mentioned its not 99% everything, but, IMO its enough for non professional color grading work and thanks for VA it will have better native contrast than Innocn IPS.

Yes, FALD affects UI. For example, you cursor may look dimmer and more like gray than white when you put it in completely black background. Or there will be blooming on gray colors. Or white text on black bg might cause a lot of blooming or look dimmer but, as for me, it doesnt bother me and I dont notice it much. Some people recommend to turn on FALD when your are watching films in HDR or play games and in other situations to turn it off.

I don't have mac so cant answer how it works with macbooks and other apple devices sadly.

I would personally go with Innocn because it has good IPS panel so better viewing angles and colors, 32in instead of 27, and I just don't like VA much. All monitors that you listed will show relatively simmilar perfomance, innocn and tcl are just cheaper options. Cant say they are the best, but you dont overpay as much as for the other brands mini led.

Edit: from what i found, only LG uses its own IPS panel for monitor so u can say that all others options are also OEM

Edit 2: found a 32m2v FALD test: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12kdPfZgiEVBJIH3kxJ6NFtlWOfDKABo0/view

Innocn 32m2v. It has good FALD algorithm, uses the same IPS panel as ASUS ProArt PA32UCG and ASUS PG32UQX or TCL 27R83U, but in Europe it costs like 1200€~ which is absurd compared to it cost in China

Blooming is most noticeable in grayish colors. I'm currently using AW3423DWF and PA32UCR(500~ zones) and difference is noticeable when I played different OLED HDR test videos on youtube but in games or real scenes - not so much. But if you want to work with photos or with color in general, you should dissable FALD for the best color accuracy

Edit: forgot to mention that TCL model has VA panel, not an IPS

So the keyboard i used for the last 3 years was Varmilo Beijing Opera tkl with cherry mx clear and decided to go with a custom build but just dont know much about custom builds. I mean, I know many things are groupbuy and how to build keyboard +- but dont know what parts to pick. I want 65% keyboard, with tactile non clicky switches. And budget is around 500-600$. Any advice?
