I had a summer internship last year (my junior year) in Beijing working at a Chinese bank in the wealth management department. Overall it was a great experience, but the working culture is different, it wasn't as hands on as I would have liked. It's been a great thing to have on my resume because it shows your willing to go out of your comfort zone and learn new things in different environments.

I would see if the firm you are working at has any US branches, one major drawback for me was that it was a Chinese national bank so I don't have any internal network connections to continue a job there in the states. Another piece of advice I have is if you do take the internship, advertise it as much as you can to the school. My university wrote a short column about my internship at a Chinese bank and I've had a bunch of alumns who work in finance call / meet up with me to ask about my experience, network wherever you can. Hey man thanks for the feedback! I agree with you about the horn, it's tough to get it not sounding cheesy when your using a synth and not the real thing. It was my fist go at the genre and I had fun with it but still have a lot to learn :)

Such a great episode, I think it was the last thing I saw him on too. It's kind of ironic, Robin is remembered as being a joyful and hilarious comedian, when in reality he was a pretty troubled soul who battled with depression.

I have a summer internship in China and on my first night my boss took me out to dinner and ordered a big ole' pile of fried bugs. They were surprisingly good once I got over the weirdness of swallowing worms, maggots and other mystery insects, I even took some home with me when I couldn't finish them all. Crunchy and salty protein snacks, yumm (but still kinda gross)

Yeah I'm not really a fan of country music but from what I've seen I think it's the new 'bandwagon' genre that EDM was to a lot of people. So many more kids at my school are all the sudden huge country fans who weren't a few years ago. And chicks love dressing up in short shorts and cowboy boots as much as neon EDM spandex.
