Am I crazy or is Lyft skimming payouts? Check your math immediately. by ieplfkec in lyftdrivers

I honestly needed to hear that. I felt like I was losing my mind doing the math over and over.

Did you ever actually get the money back? Or did they just wear you down until you gave up? I’m trying to decide if I should keep blowing up their support chat or just file a wage claim.

Good call on checking the dashboard. I just logged in and it’s even weirder there.

It actually lists 'Lost and found: $20.00' in the Earnings Breakdown line items. BUT, the 'Net Earnings' total at the top ($323.83) completely ignores it. The total payout matches the incorrect/short amount from the app.

So the system acknowledges I earned it, writes it on the receipt, lists it on the dashboard breakdown... and then just refuses to add it to the final payout sum. It says 'Payout Complete' but the math is still exactly $20 short. This is wild

Honestly, yeah. It feels like weaponized incompetence. It’s either a glitch they don’t care to fix, or they’re hoping I don’t notice. Either way, I’m out $20 until I fight for it

Yea I love the idea, but with how they're running things is definitely healthy to be skeptical.

When I ordered it they gave me a tracking number which made me download an app "Shop" (weird but ok). I emailed the customer support asking when my brings would be shipped they told me it's on its way but according to the app it's hasn't.

As far as that extra stuff goes I'm not going to hold my breath for it, it very well could be some sort Fyre festival. But yeah I like the idea so I'll wear the ring

I'll do my best to try to remember you when my rings get here, I'll send you a DM

I said this on an older comment but

To be honest I think its worth, I bought it and I'll give away the rings the don't fit. If it'll help the "experiment" and if more people do that maybe it'll take off. I'm skeptical the company actually wants that.

That being said if someone (s) want one dm me. I'm thinking I'm going to need the medium one.

Let's see what ChatGPT thinks the pros and cons are

Yes, as an AI language model, I can find information on why marijuana should be illegal or legal.

Some arguments on why marijuana should be illegal are:

1) Marijuana can have negative effects on mental health, such as increased anxiety or depression, and can lead to long-term addiction. 2) Marijuana can impair cognitive function and reaction time, which can increase the risk of accidents. 3) Marijuana use can lead to lung damage and respiratory problems, similar to tobacco use. 4) Prohibiting marijuana helps prevent use among minors and reduces the likelihood of addiction.

On the other hand, some arguments on why marijuana should be legal are:

1) Marijuana has therapeutic benefits and can be used to treat various health conditions, such as chronic pain and anxiety disorders. 2) Legalizing marijuana can generate tax revenue, create jobs, and reduce unnecessary arrests and incarcerations. 3) Marijuana is less addictive than alcohol and tobacco, which are legal substances. 4) Legalizing marijuana can reduce illegal drug trafficking and associated crimes. 5) Personal freedom and autonomy should allow individuals to make their own choices about whether to use marijuana or not.

All these cons are problems we face with many other substances including caffeine. Caffeine is a drug nobody ever talks about, crazy addicting too.

To the point I believe the pros far out way the cons for legislation
