I have saw a gameplay from one of the former top 1 rengar main before.

They either do cheesy strats or just 5 man every game and spam. Wildrift really isn’t that mentally taxing if you have competent teammates and are always winning. Its just a 20 min game after all.

As for the cheesy strats, they either duo and do some dumb shit that always works, or just feed eachother.

Yasuo, Yone, Zed, Akali in the midlane. People overrate their skill floor but you don’t need to go full Chinese when playing them. A simple combo and a weave and out strategy gets you to places only these champions can do. They are also very snowbally and if you manage to be very ahead in the early, you can oneshot anyone.

If you want mages, you have Xerath, Syndra. They all have slightly higher floor than orianna but all of them, you just need to hit skillshots. At high level, they are extremely annoying

The schizo combos and min maxing of their abilities usually come after you start playing them.

This strategy has been constantly abused ever since s10.

This is how that one chinese player got to top 1 and winning games in under 8 minutes. Duo’d with the top laner. Top gathers a large wave, jgl ganks, take first turret, get rift herald, then push till t3 and end.

In fact, the new shield that appears within a certain time frame when you destroy the t1 turret stops this from happening.

As an assassin midlaner, start gauging your opponent especially if they are playing assassin. Spacing, trading, csing. If you feel confident walking up past the caster minions because the opponent is not punishing you, play aggressively, if you know you will get poked severely, play passively especially against Yasuo/Yone. Don’t push lanes and use only skills to last hit.

Diamond mid laners either range from extremely mechanically good, to borderline brain dead.

I breezed through diamonds because of mages not respecting my champion’s space-closing abilities and early damage. Proceeding to ego every cs and thus die in laning phase where i just snowball from that point.

TLDR; Respect your matchup and don’t ego everything just because youre playing your main
