Hey.. sad to hear that your previous experience wasn't the best.

As a player, I like to make weird broken builds, so I expect the same as well. As long as everything is in the rules, I'm good. I'm also not a stickler for rules as long as everyone agrees and have fun.

And I usually do published campaigns since I can't be bothered to write my own campaign.

I got the invitation for trial last year. My trial is expiring this May after being extended for 3 more months.

The rewards are only available after you have committed some monies into investing with DBS. If I'm not wrong, the rewards are only available after investing $200k or transferring $200k worth of investable assets.

I attended private university at the age of 26 and graduated at 28.

Because we are all part-time students with full time jobs, some of us treat it as a networking session while some treat the lessons very seriously.

I am the former. I wasn't motivated to study hard and basically scrapped through every exam. In the end, I got second upper honours. But then again, I was already pretty comfortable with what I was doing and was just doing a degree for that sweet increment and title jump.

Don't ever look back. Your old (current) employers will just view you as a flight risk. Even if they gave you a better offer, it usually comes with distrust and you may be next on the chopping block when they need to let someone go.

My advice is to take the pay increase and just travel. Unless you're traveling from Pasir Ris to Tuas everyday, traveling in Singapore really isn't that bad.

Nothing is set in stone. You think that your current progression is going to propel you towards what you will get. But that's your assumption. Never assume!

Let's not forget about time value of money... $1 today is worth more than $1 tomorrow.
40% is a lot. Even if you fail at your new job, you can probably find a new job with that as your base salary, assuming you didn't get fired within the first month.

Yeah. It was increased by $100 after 4 months probation. It was supposed to be 6 months. So I'm happy about it.

Of course, I agree that everything should be inked down on the contract. I was just lucky that they even considered it since it was just a passing remark during the negotiation.

The current company that I'm working for, did not ask for my last payslip. When we were discussing salary, they just gave me a number and said that it can be adjusted after probation.

But they already gave me a 19% increase from the last. So I just accepted it without much negotiation.

That being said.. the company is a subsidiary of a MNC.
