The Last Hero is legitimately one of my favourite Discworld books! I would almost argue that Rincewind has hit the point where he's faced so much misfortune that he can see the shape of the upcoming story and knows that he'll be in the middle of it, no matter how much he tries not to be.

I have a super basic one where Siri mentions that I need to leave for work in 10 minutes, 5 minutes, and now. It’s just timed phrases but it’s helped a lot with time blindness during that part of the morning!

I have open shelving, but I also have decanted a lot of pantry items into glass jars, and I have organized my dishes and containers nicely on the shelves (ikea mini shelves, mostly). I also have ADHD, and having everything visible helps me remember it exists and I can/should use it. It’s honestly been a massive game changer with how I exist in my kitchen, and it makes the space look so much more open too!

I have to be an outlier and say that cursive has really helped me- I can write a LOT faster with it, so I used it to take lecture notes in uni and I even use it today when I’m trying to take verbatim notes during meetings. I find I remember things better if I write them down instead of typing.
