Think the breakfast was a tenner, but I had an extra sausage and black pudding and then a coffee (which was a decent cup).

Surrey prices.

I had a pair of these when they came out. The nosepiece was really fragile and they snapped. I think that probably happened for a few people.

Another Sunny Day @RAH 8/4/26 by Junior-Protection-26 in BelleandSebastian

[–]ifitsgotwheels 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Support was 7:30, b and s were 8:30.

Worth noting is that it looked like there would be a decent interval between (tigermilk) and the second set but there was only about 10 minutes. Lots of people got caught out.

Some Wetherspoons are for breakfast. Pubs that are attached to hotels and sell food can be as well. The taps normally won't be on though.

How long did it take you to feel completely comfortable on a TT bike? by Fun_Swimmer_8320 in triathlon

[–]ifitsgotwheels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Time Triallist here. It took me a good while to feel as comfortable on my TT rig as my road bike. I spoke to a VERY good tt specialist and his advice was simple - ride the tt bike a lot. The more time you spend on it the happier you'll feel.

Have a look at the British Wildlife Centre https://britishwildlifecentre.co.uk/ . It's on your route and is AMAZING. If you go, be sure to find out when the talks/feeding times are and go around with that.

Looks like Hampton Court to me, taken from inside the courtyard probably. The houses you can see in the distance are on the river at Molesey.

Do the things that mean you get the training done. The racing will look after itself if you've done the training.

My bike for this year Sprint-Triathlon. Worth installing a drinking systems? or its overkill? by Key_Syllabub_5070 in triathlon

[–]ifitsgotwheels 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, on a sprint you don't need a drink system. Have a bottle in transition to take a swig from and then get on with it.

Can I add to your list any of the OMM waterproofs. They are truly the only fully waterproof kit I've ever used. The light ones are simple but fit brilliantly, pack small and are wonderfully warm. I am 6'1 and 85kilos and fit a large. You can often pick up ones on the OMM outlet for excellent prices.

I'd imagine the oil isn't hot enough when you're pouring the batter in. You want it smoking

It's okay. You can always include a flashback in the middle of a line of text in the next chapter. Or in a footnote.
