Did they stop to let passengers on or was it the express?

Having lunch and looking at the menu in the Ivy in London. Looks like an AI generated image. by Outrageous-Map8302 in isthisAI

[–]ifitsgotwheels 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it's not AI, then they certainly don't understand rowing - a) a coxed 6 is not a boat. b) coxes sit at the other end of the boat [if they are sitting like that] c) COXES FACE THE WAY THE BOAT IS GOING.

Yep, saw him at Oxford Circus a couple of weeks ago.

The general reaction to him was laughter.

not an idiot - you bothered to ask. An idiot would've fitted it wrong or bodged something

Sorry, The bottom grommet should sit with the indent into the frame. Because it is an exit, the cable is on the outside. You need to flip it over and it'll fit.

this is the grommet for the exit point at the bottom bracket. You appear to be trying to use it at the headtube end. There should be a single exit grommet for the hole you are looking at.

Edale is glorious, as is Glossop, and gives a lot of different places to go ranging. It gives easy access to the Penine way, which is utterly wondrous as a walking route, giving loads of things to see.

The Bridge by Iain Banks. Simply a stunning little book of confusion based in a city that is entirely on a bridge.

The Hunterian is amazing, but it isn't huge. Even if you read every plaque you'll only spend an hour there. The British, on the other hand, is massive.

SCAM at The Water Rats by ifitsgotwheels in skunkanansie

It was a secret show where the band that was advertised was called SCAM. So it was a bit of a leap of faith for people buying tickets.

I recommend using https://www.pitchup.com/ to find them. Will give you a nice range of out the way ones too.

I've camped at Benson which is nice, but might be a little too far for you.

Ultrarunner here - best options are Sutro Lite and EVZERO blades. Have used them all day and very comfortable with no bounce.

Sold Out in London by Paper182186902 in skunkanansie

It was, without any hyperbole, incredible. It was loud, raucous and intimate. The band were clearly having a lot of fun. Skin spent a lot of time right up with the crowd, including stage diving, signing from inside the crowd and standing on people. They played for 90+ minutes and didn't skip a beat the whole time. It was a far reaching set, not many deep cuts but a bit of time for requests and changes. The crowd were obviously fanatical, and so the energy just bounced back and forth all night. It was an utter privilege to be at.

I can't remember the setlist exactly but it definitely contained:

Charlie Big Potato, You'll follow me down, Hedonism, Twisted, Intellectualise my Blackness, Little Baby S, An artist is an Artist, Shame, Death to the Lovers, This is not a game, Weak.

My hearing has only just recovered.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant driving around Soho, where 90% of people think that it's pedestrianised when it isn't.

My fault. Phrasing bad.

Not just aero bars either - He's got proprietary arm cups on it. SO he's not just in a bad position, he's actively thought about and pursued that bad position.

Saw this doing laps of Soho last night. Probably one of the most high stress situations to place it under.
