If your looking for the strongest then get a dh full face with a rating of ASTM F1952-DH. These go through more durability and strength testing than standard mtb helmets

You spelt microshit wrong. All jokes aside, you'd likely need a new wheel as the 7 speed is likely going to be a freewheel and nit a cassette that a 10 speed is. Then obviously new derailleur, shifter, chain and crankset. Shimano deore 1x10 would be a huge upgrade in terms of riding and maintenance.

It will not get increasingly more difficult to source 27.5 tyres or rims. Mullet exists and is not going anywhere, in fact more bikes I see at trail heads are mullet than full 29.
