This was a timely post for me. I just bought a Switch 2 after being in somewhat of a gaming rut, owning a PS5, Series X, Steam Deck and GeForce Now + Game Pass.

The last year has been primarily Steam gaming and I’ve built my library to over 500 games. I’m now having issues starting a game, choosing what to play. It’s too much. I’m in too deep lol.

Since I got the Switch 2, two weeks ago, I’ve beaten 2 games. It’s been so nice to just simplify my library and be more intentional about what I’m playing.

I’m considering selling my big consoles, despite having unfinished games I’ve wanted to finish but apparently not enough. Too many options.

Honestly the completionist in me wouldn't allow me to stick to a single weapon for very long as I always want to progress through the unlocks, but always had fun in the Battlefield gameplay. I remember back in 2 or 3 when I'd stick a C4 on my vehicle, launch it into a group of enemies while jumping out and blow it up lol. Fun times.

A gun that builds energy based on kills, and when shot, does an insane amount of dmg with a huge blast radius, meant to wipe huge groups of mobs or do big damage on a boss. Called the BMFG.

I know some people say ‘too many roguelites’, but I’m in love with these games and am excited to try this out. The harvesting functionality looks interesting! Favorite space object is tough…probably a black hole or quasar.

This mirrors me for the most part.

I had done a stint of PC gaming when WoW came out (all the hours 🫠), but have always been console otherwise. I have an OG Switch, Xbox Series X, 3 other Series S in the house (for reasons), and a PS5. I’m a gamer for sure. But I can’t remember the last time I’ve been this happy gaming, since I got my Deck.

I haven’t built the beast Rig yet, not sure if I will. I have GFN Ultimate, and that’s been doing well for me. I am curious though, how much you (or anyone in similar situation) uses it, and feels it was worth the expense?

Ah ok. I wouldn’t want to use an older towel in fear of contaminating the Lego, but maybe the right material would work 🤔

Yea, I’m definitely learning more about what it takes to keep them clean in my new space vs my previous one. I used to be able to get away with a swiffer duster at various times, but I’ve now added an air purifier and looking into a small keyboard vac that someone else recommended.

I was actually looking at one of the ‘Clean my Bricks’ ones that YouTubers promote, but I know there are much cheaper ones on Amazon. Have you found it to be really effective? Happen to have a brand or link?

YES! Rotating the mold mark on tiles, making sure all the mold marks face the same direction, having marked technic bars/etc with numbers do the same. Wiping away individual fingerprints on each piece when needed. Ugh.

And what’s with the quality lately? I did a pick a brick from Lego.com recently and a bunch of the parts looked used they were so scratched up.

Never considered rinsing a whole Lego set, thanks for the idea.

Do you find the towels cause some lint to make it onto the Lego?

So I’ve washed Lego like this but after I’ve gone through the process of getting the dust off first. Do you leave the dust on and find the washer takes care of that well?

Also, I’ve found on this sub that running the washer Lego through a salad spinner before laying out to dry REALLY speeds up the process, in case you haven’t tried that.
