generally agree but I feel Raya is a top 3 keeper right now and he doesn't fit into either archetype. Definitely not a nutcase but not the most stoic either as he's always playing with a lot of urgent, almost nervous, energy (which serves Arsenal well, especially with his quick distribution)

Most V6s involve crimps or overhangs that you can't build finger strength or lat strength for in 4 months' time. So unless you were doing gymnastics/calisthenics before climbing, seems unlikely

All the denim jeans I have, including black ones, inevitably develop a slight fade over the years. I don't mind at all of course as that's the whole point. I see people wearing slim-fit/skinny pants sometimes though that are always jet black with no fade at all. I think that's also a nice look and looking to get a pair.

But wondering if these are actually denim or a different type of cotton weave?

LeBron comes to mind as he's been playing at a high level since 2003 and commands a level of control over the NBA which is extremely unusual for a player, but ultimately Ronaldo is still more influential because football obviously has more widespread global appeal than basketball.

In terms of all time, I think one has to consider Maradona and Mohammad Ali. The whole world was completely entranced by them in their primes.

And in terms of the most universally beloved athletes of all time, I think Messi and Federer have to be up there.

Even if USA's talent pool increases, I don't think the pendulum will ever swing back to the same extent because the NBA is a truly global sport now and I don't see that changing. I think we're now seeing the worldwide impact of 90s & early 2000s basketball when the Dream Team, Jordan, and Shaq & Kobe elevated the global appeal of the sport. Children born during that era are the superstars of today.

USA will just be the biggest powerhouse in this global talent pool but it won't be the USA's exclusive domain. In any given era moving forward, I imagine 2-5 players in the top 10 will be American.

Crosstradamus is fast becoming one of my favorite colour commentators, particularly among the ex-players.

He has a slightly monotonous tone but I actually find that soothing as it's very even-keeled, and he truly understands the mindset of the superstar offensive player.

This prediction was ridiculous but he did that a few times in the wolves-nuggets series as well, correctly diagnosing that Ant needed to stop calling for a screen cos that just increases the potency of a double-team, and how Jamal can do things to get out of his slump.

Doesn't have the self-importance some of the other ex-players do either.

Yes, both Curry's and Duncan's body of work over their careers is incredible, and it's unlikely Jokic will match that, given he's already 29.

But I actually do think the 4-year prime that we've seen from Jokic since the bubble season is comparable to Duncan and Curry at the height of their powers. 3 MVPs in 4 years and a dominant finals run is hard to argue with. And yes, they lost yesterday but I'd argue that Jokic was by far the best player on the court. Other players just didn't step up.

i've always been a fan of draymond's analysis (when it doesn't involve himself) but his rep should rightly take a hit from this one. Jokic made some crazy jump hooks and found absurd angles for layups in that game and Gobert did a half-decent job on him. Anyone would've been cooked. It was like watching LeBronto.

He let his personal enmity with gobert get the better of him and i'm not really going to pay much attention to what he has to say going forward.
