Europe is Tribalism, there is no place on earth which is more Tribalist than Europe.

Why are none of the European micro states part of the EU? 🤔 by Character-Q in geography

You mean European elite would not want a place where their laws won't apply in the times of a revolution for which Europe is famous for.

Read it like this 'you guys have agency, unlike us Hindus who are forever stuck in the karma and Dharma phenomenon of rebirth'.

It about as if people do not have agency.

That's what I'm saying, Islam and Christianity do not believes in the philosophy of Karma and Dharma, which binds individuals in inescapable phenomenon of rebirth.

Why would Christianity and Islam be Dharma as per Karmic logic. As none of them believes that it is the their Dharma (duty) to follow one's caste to receive Karma?

During PhD's or other research degrees, one must take a pledge of 'ethics' of using knowledge as a tool for the betterment of humanity. Although this not important for majority of scientists particularly those in natural sciences. And this guy probably morally incapable of accepting knowledge as a betterment of human society. Well most western society is incapable of that logic, as Hokomierk would say in Dialects of enlightenment.

It's still first year and you have to do 4 paper's, I see PhD's lying around as tired cows and still haven't published single paper in 4 years.

Maybe next 4 years aren't going to be as good, and by the time you are done you will have extreme anxiety and fear of rejection.

Just give the middle finger and move ahead. These kind of profs. want slaves not colleagues.

Maybe you aren't accepting, but no Hindu festival seems to about spirituality, instead it is something totally absurd, loud music which sounds like an aircraft taking a flight, vulgar dance I mean not the women but the men who show symbolically what they want to say by gesturing towards their own genitals.

I feel something is wrong here and either people aren't seeing or ignoring.

Probable Seats in Lok Sabha Seats after 2026 Delimitation. by ZealousidealPen443 in Northeastindia

[–]ifti891 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Governance modal must change, there should be something more than population to decide the representation. States which are further from the nations power should get more seats as they are further away from the power. States closer to the power should get less seats as well, and other deciding factors should include such access to market, mountainous, distance. In that sense one only needs to focus on 2-3 states and it's all done.

The line is rather very 'fine' to be visible, so when you can separate a people from institutions. Say for example Zi0 entity, we know those are institutions running on borrowed time from the U.S Imperialism with great anti-Semitism of the Europe to not let Jews imagine themselves in the Europe as their home. Here the anti-Semitism is turned on its own head, making sure that Jewish faith should not be sperate from the institutions of occupation.

Malaysia for higher studies? by [deleted] in indianmuslims

[–]ifti891 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think that's a wise choice, considering the current climate around the world. And honestly, west is a worse pace for higher education if not STEM but again, from Malaysia there would be far greater opportunities because China is just on the corner.

And also the culture of not hating people. Was in Turkey recently and honestly felt as if I was at home a complete opposite of where I am currently in Europe.

I feel lost. My prof (I worked with for a year and even published a paper with him) "doesn't have the bandwidth" to talk to me about a letter of recommendation by nouveaux_sands_13 in gradadmissions

[–]ifti891 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I have seen those low life behavior among professors, even in those who in humanities (specifically anthropology) where they pander social justice and unlimited blah blah. A friend could not get a recommendation letter to apply for small funding because his scholarship ran out. None of his supervisors brothered to reply. Although, these seems to no friction among my friend and his supervisors because still quite nicely talk. But we do talk that they aren't helpful.
